“I love this place! As a quintessential small town diner it would be hard to do better. Breakfast is reasonably priced and excellent with good variety. Lunch falls off a bit but there are still some good bites. The waitstaff is nearly always courteous and helpful. While everyone has an off day, this place has very few 'off days' and is reliable and consistent. Yes, I eat here often.”

Tonight the dinner was exceptional: Polenta baked with portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach; excellent apple and greens salad; great bruschetta; cannoli and — of course — gelato. “I have been going there for over thirty years. Never a bad meal. It's a completely different experience than the chain restaurants, and here is why. Reservations. They really need to get a good idea of how many are dining. This isn't the plastic chain restaurant where they slap a frozen factory cooked meal into the microwave. The chef obtains the best and freshest ingredients available. Your food isn't coming to your table in 2 minutes. There is an actual chef preparing an actual meal. The staff takes pride in what they do. The servers are professional. It's what fine dining is supposed to be. Take your time, enjoy the cozy setting, and for the love of all that's holy....get dessert.”
