This place is so cute and fun! Different fun furniture and places to sit, fun games, and great drinks. We had Reena as our bartender and she was so sweet and nice. 10/10 recommended.

Went here for drinks while we were in town. Drinks were great, lots of good beers on tap. Food was ok, but to be fair we only got a charcuterie board. Server was awesome and friendly. Jokes with us and made us feel welcomed. Live music was also great! Awesome atmosphere.

We were visiting friends who live close by and stumbled upon this cute place. This seems to be a local hangout. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere fun. They had live music that was excellent. Our party of 4 ordered 4 different cocktails. I must say all four were poor. We had a gin cocktail, a vodka cocktail, and 2 bourbon cocktails between our party. I've never had cocktails this bad. I think these folks really try to make their customers happy, don't get me wrong, but we could not finish our drinks. I would recommend perhaps checking out their wine or beer selection and steering clear of any homemade cocktails. Again, the staff was great, and the place was fun, but stick to the bottled options and enjoy the vibe of the place.

Stopped by for lunch while in town from Minnesota, the food is fantastic and the service is also excellent. Had the Cob apple panini with tater salad and it was delicious. Also had maybe the best bloody Mary I have ever had.The atmosphere is fun with interesting artwork on the walls and lots of cute chicken references around the dining room.I recommend you give it a try if you are in town.

What a gem! Harrison now features a truly fabulous craft bar/bistro/live music venue. Hidden at the top of Long Lake across the street from the fabulous Long Lake Creamery (where we've indulged in way too many calories) is a place where soon everyone will know your name. The Barking Chicken brings craft beers, artisanal cocktails, delicious small plates, friendly service, and live music to a sleepy area of the Lakes Region. We tested all of the appetizers in lieu of dinner and did not find any wanting. The cocktails, service, tastes, and presentation were worthy of more sophisticated venues. Ssshhh! We don't want this lovely find to make its way onto too many "best of" listicles.

Had a great brunch here on Easter Sunday. Our first visit, will definitely return. Waffles and bacon were excellent. Nice local beers on tap and drink menu looked good. Looking forward to coming back.
