Hidden gem. This is the best restaurant in Northern Maine, and the owner is the nicest and most genuine person thatmakes you feel like your at a home that has been long gone. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and atmosphere. It is at the top of my list.

Salt of the earth and absolute best people! They are the center of happiness in this little adorable town and in a time when it's so needed! This town is so much better because this family is part of it! I'll be back to visit for sure! Maybe even stay longer next time! I'm definitely looking forward to making a formal reservation (currently only delicious curbside pick up during this Covid resurgence) at The Courtyard Café!! I'm so in awe of the long-standing presence they've had in your town, the perfected expertise in their recipes and the quality of customer service! They all have the "it" factor and am so proud to have been able to experience it for myself! They are overwhelmingly dedicated to what they provide for this town! They truly deserve their own hallmark movie ❤️ Extra note: I highly recommend their homemade salad dressings! Available for purchase (trust me, you'll want a few to take with you! Especially the Maple Dijon vinaigrette!!)

They were glad to accommodate my request. They made an amazing dinner my aunt and cousin said it was excellent. Thank you so much courtyard café. My husband and I have enjoyed take out for past 3 weeks. We have had the pleasure of trying several dishes from Courtyard. Every one of them has been tremendous. I have tried the Henry's homemade sausage and creamy pasta dish which is one of my favorites. The chowder, baked haddock, and stuffed mushrooms are absolutely delicious. The chicken wings are the best, most tender and delicious I have ever tried and I have tried all of them in the Bangor area. My husband is vegetarian and loves ordering the margherita pizza, mac n cheese, and garlic mashed potatoes. There isn't anything we have ordered that we have disappointed with. Thank you for being there and for having such a diverse menu.

We loved our Valentines’ supper! The menu had excellent choices and both of our entrees were delicious! The cheesecake was also amazing. So nice to have a place with excellent food and great service to celebrate life’s special occasions.

I visited here as part of a business trip, and was brought here by those with whom I was doing business. This was a clean, cozy, small restaurant with a country feel to it. The owner was very nice and her waitstaff were accommodating & friendly. The food was made fresh by the owner, and I think she said that much (or all) of it is direct from her own farm or garden, I can't remember. Either way, the freshness was evident in the taste of the food - from the appetizers, entrees, and down to the desserts. If I'm in town again, I'll eat there again.
