“I cannot tell you how OUTSTANDING the food is here! These guys from Jacksonville Florida are not only THEE ONLY good place to eat in Houlton, Maine, they may have the best BBQ food in ALL of Maine! This is 5 Star place with reasonable prices and a very sociable and kind staff! Having lived in all parts of the country including Florida, this is a MUST DRIVE UP TO 4 Hours and a MUST STOP if you're anywhere near Houlton!”

“We booked a family celebration at the Upover and worked with Leslie and Marty! They were so easy to work with and correspond with. Leslie made us a fabulous charcuterie board and we had other delicious appetizers and ordered our dinner off their regular menu which had plenty of options for the adults and the children! We had a great bartender who waa very attentive to our group! Great service and my family would definitely book a function again with them or have dinner and drinks at the Downunder!”

Delivered to them when I got home and told them I went to the Factory to get it. 4 Galloons, 10 Half Pints and 4 Pints but only 1 butter for the boyfriend. . I love this place so much ..”

“First time there and everything was delightful! We got a dozen donuts, a Danish, a strudel, and an iced sugar cookie. I can say the cookie was the best I've ever had and the strudel was amazing!! The donuts were all top notch as well! The prices were extremely reasonable too We will definitely be back!”

“Really nice place, comfortable to dine in or take out! General THOSE had good taste but way too much soupy sauce and egg roll smelled burnt or had weird after taste. Had Szechuan Beef with a Shrimp role this 2nd time for take out. Both were really good!!! Both times the staff was exceptional friendly and attentive. Not much to recommend in Houlton but for Chinese, im coming here. 4 Stars.”

“This place is better than presque Isle Tim Hortons. They have better donuts an ice cream bar and the best service that you can find. Every time I go there I get greeted and they know my usual order.”

“Best part of 1 item missing in everything we ordered were the TWO employees amongst the near empty chip rack, and numorus missing food items in the preptable! Good employees don't stick around when there is lack of preparedness within management. These two employees not only need but deserve recognition for holding the store together tonight. I will be back from Kansas City in the weeks to come.”

“We just happened to stop here while doing the Maine Solar System and I’m so so so so thankful we did. Seriously just take my money!!!! The food was exceptional! We ordered the Cheeseburger with Homemade French fries and a bacon double cheeseburger with a baked potato. Both came with coleslaw. I could barely fit the double bacon cheeseburger in my mouth. It was made perfectly and the quality of the meat was top tier. I’m not even a burger fan and I are the entire burger. There was zero gristle which is a huge plus. I’m really happy with This place. It’s really really clean and you wouldn’t even know it was in a gas station if there weren’t pumps outside… highly recommend! Service was exceptional! 5 stars!!!!!”
