“We have lived in the area for almost 4 years and finally decided to try Backwoods Eatery for the first time. The food is amazing! We got the BBQ chicken sandwich, the smoked sausage sandwich and the backwoods chicken sandwich. They were some of the best sandwiches we’ve had in a long time. Each came with a generous helping of perfectly cooked french fries. And the coleslaw…my goodness..it’s hard to find a good coleslaw… but this one…**chefs kiss** Definitely will be back to try more items in the menu and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a lot of good food for a really good price!“

“I ordered from an older menu for pickup. The owner explained to me that the menu I was ordering from wasn’t current but offered to prepare what he could from that anyways. When I arrived to pick it up he personally came to the front and apologized for the inconvenience. Above and beyond customer service and will definitely be a returning customer!“

“We enjoyed our meal very much! The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff was attentive. Delicious comfort foods served in an elevated style. Our family of four each liked the dishes we ordered. The truffle fries and chicken fried steak bites were big hits too! My husband ordered the meat loaf and thought the portion size was a little small but, I would say that was the only negative we had.“

“The cactus chicken is the best. Hand breaded chicken tenders with a house made sauce (which I suspect is sweet baby rays honey mustard mixed with sweet baby rays original barbecue sauce). Their special of sirloin steak tips w/ cactus chicken was incredible.“
