“For those who were around when this was the Rooster, this is still your place. This was and still is my favorite restaurant in this area. A must visit for any skier or visitor. As a first time visitor to the new restaurant, I was hopeful. In reality, it was a lot better than I expected. Everything we had was really great, Honey Maple salmon was awesome, and just as great: the crispy potato wedges. Pretzel app, homemade dessert special were also superb. Shout out for uplifting and hard working servers too. Quality and prices are some of the best in the area. Can't wait to visit again.Kid-friendliness: Cool arcade on first floor“
“LOVE this place! The wings and clam chowder were amazing. Environment is so laid back and chill. Staff is very friendly and serviceable. They have live music on weekends which is also pretty cool! Definitely a good spot for some drinks and music on a Friday or Saturday night.“
“I LOVE the Sudbury Inn. This trip was a little different. We had a bunch of kids so we needed more space than the main building could offer. We stayed in the Carriage House apartment. It was nice to have our own space and not worry about how much noise we were making. The fireplace wouldn’t work though, there is no Wi-Fi back there and the TV’s are a pain to operate so I gave it 4 stars. Next time, we will hope to stay again in the main Inn.“
“Went for a sleigh ride at the attached hotel and decided to reserve a table for afterwards. Great decision. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Service was excellent. Everyone loved their food. One of us had the fillet and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The side dishes were great. I had the duck pot pie...it was awesome and again, perfectly cooked!!! We also had delicious fish and chips and a large, hearty entree salad. Highly recomended.“
“If you are looking for a nice, personal service and a well cooked Italian meal (slope side!) then definitely hit up Frank’s at the Fall Line Condos. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the condo complex and parking is free and ample. There are multiple fireplaces, a pool table and the owner, Frank, is a great conversationalist and active in his operation.“
“When we placed our name they said about an hour for a party of seven. We were surprised when we only waited a half hour. We ordered four pizzas, nachos, fish and chips and a kids meal. Everyone was friendly and service was fast. Live music was fun and interacted with the kids. The fish and chips was a generous portion. Pizzas were very cheesy and excellent flavor. The nachos were heaping! Great place!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was great and my child enjoyed the hot dog!“
“We had a blast after a great weekend of skiing at Sunday river! Live music was off the chart the food was great and the service was very friendly and Timely. Great craft beer selection. Outdoor bar service with fire pit was the perfect way to end our “
“This is one of my happy places! Get the ribeye grilled cheese sandwich…my goodness! Great local beer selection. Can get loud/lively inside on a packed day…and the decor is a little normal, but it’s a bar, not a museum. Has an expansive bar seating and quick, friendly service. Love posting up on the sunny porch with the views of the slopes. If it’s too much with the crowds you can always relocate the group around the corner in the lodge area.Kid-friendliness: They serve french fries!“
“Barker Lodge is still running during covid season. there’s now a very organized routine of being seated that only allows 50 people in the lodge at a time. you must be utilizing the tables while seated or you will be asked to leave if they’re busy to make tables available for everyone. foods great, highly recommend the pizza and hot chocolate!! yummmm“
“If you're skiing and get off at North Peak, definitely come in here for a bite to eat! They have everything from chili to fries dough pizza! The food tastes really good and fresh too! The peanut butter cookie is very tasty as well. The chilli was hot and delicious! The views alone are worth the visit alone!Parking: Plenty of spots to park your skis!“
“I think what they do best is appetizers. I had the egg dish before the pho and I was sorely disappointed with the pho broth after the eggs. In hindsight I should have just combined the dishes. The short rib is cooked well and a decent amount but doesn't make up for the broth. They make delicious drinks too.“
