This one is my favorite compared to the one in Portland, Maine. Really wish there was one in Sanford, Maine near the Lows/Walmart plaza so I can stop in for lunch from time to time. I'd post a photo, but it's in my belly already. ðŸ¤ðŸ¤£

I grew up eating Amato's Italian subs. Salt pepper oil original. The service isn't very good from the surly staff. I only get the chance once or twice a year to have a real italian, nostalgia will keep bringing me back to the crummy people who keep this figment of my childhood.

Amato's catered our Christmas Eve Day lunch at work. The food arrived on time, but it was two hours old before I could get to it. We had pizza, pasta, salad, sides and appetizers. The macaroni and cheese was quite good. The pizza was good and very big and they kindly had plastic spacers in the pizza to keep it from getting accidentally crushed. All food was well-packaged. I would not get the white lasagna again as I didn't find it very tasty.
