“Everything was amazing. We would highly recommend starting off with a warm mug of miso soup. Sitting at the bar allowed us to get suggestions from Chef on additional items to try. Staff helped us celebrate our new house purchase with a complementary house orange sparkling wine toast. There is no doubt reservations will the scarce during the summer, so plan ahead!”

We came about 6 months after Wandby Landing opened and the food and service was very good but can say a little over a year later, bam, they have upped their game with new menu items, the flavors on all of the dishes we tried were truly fantastic! This is an A+ in our book for southern/central coast Maine The wine selection was also pretty good, we got a nice bottle from one of our favorites in Williamette Valley and the mark-up was reasonable for the quality of the product. Overall, if you are anywhere need Kennebunkport, you NEED to make this a stop!!”

“The Village Tavern is one of the best restaurants in the Kennebunk area. The food is delicious. The lamb dish is extraordinary. The wait staff is friendly and professional. It has plentiful seating both inside and out and a bar area as well. Whenever we want a cozy, intimate dinner, we always head to the Village Tavern.. “Love this place! Very cozy bar/restaurant and a great find in the off season. They've got dollar bills pinned to the walls - and they offer magic markers and thumbtacks for anyone who chooses to leave their mark. The beers are delicious and the food was great. We loved the potatoe skins with cheddar, bacon and other good things. The fish and chips were were excellent and the chicken tenders satisfied our younger diner. My husband noticed someone having the bangers and mash at a nearby table and wants to go back before we leave Maine. The wait staff and people in the bar were warm and friendly. Highly recommend.”

“We love! dog friendly Batson River Brewing! They also have an outposts in Portland and Wells but this spot was perfect after a beach day in Kennebunk! Staff was great! Family friendly and doggo friendly with food and craft cocktails for everyone. We will be back!”

“The proprietor is a lovely man. I enjoy talking with him about Thailand. The crispy eggrolls are fantastic! And I love that the pad Thai was made with the thin noodles. The presentation of that dish was absolutely wonderful and of course it was very delicious. This was my first time at this wonderful little gym of a restaurant. Fresh Focaccia bread service was good.We had a Chef's Tasting of the Bolognese which is the crowd pleaser and we agreed ?%!Entrees: Cutler Cove Salmon and Shrimp Scampi which were Divine! “This restaurant was suggested to me via my hotel lobby clerk as I understand that it is a favorite of the locals.I sat at the bar as they were very busy and had good conversation with the friendly bar tender even though he was swamped he made sure to interact with me.Started with the crab cake and initially was disappointed at the size of it, but after the 1st bite changed my mind as it was almost all crab maybe a small amount of breading to hold the shape. So a pleasant surpriseI had their fish and chips (pictured) but doesn't do it justice. The fillet was very sizable flaky tender and cooked perfectly. The breading was just enough and great.The only real negative is that they are obviously well liked by the locals and very busy which due to the size of their place made it quite loud.Otherwise a great meal in a wonderful local atmosphere with great food”
