“The best ice cream in Southern Maine! Flavors and textures are so ?So sad they are not open all year!
Kid-friendliness: Benches outside to eat ice cream with kids or dogs. It's a summer place to go for tourists! They won't regret it!“

“We visited July 7 for the first time. The ice cream was great (can't go wrong with Shaker Park Pond) but the interior and layout is lovely and we melet Melissa, the owner, who was incredibly friendly. We'll go back for fancy coffee (and more ice cream) for certain!!“

“Cash only! Totally worth a stop. So many options. They have classic and unusual flavors. They have regular ice cream and also have coconut milk based, water based, and vegan options. Service was great. The kiddie size was pretty big - a 2 scoop at other places.
Dietary restrictions: Several vegetarian, non-dairy, and vegan options
Parking: Big lot of free parking
Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is crusher run but there are no steps“
“While exploring downtown Ogunquit, we stopped for some ice cream here. They had a bunch of great flavors and generous portion sizes. I enjoyed the red raspberry chip (which had thick chocolate chunks) mixed with chocolate peanut butter chip, while my husband had the Maine blueberry pie. The staff was pleasant and we sat on a bench outside to enjoy our ice cream. We would definitely come back again for another treat!“

“People are pleasant and clean atmosphere. I gave 4 stars because I love homemade verses soft serve, but still a good quick treat! A few great options, but size is small for the amount of cost. Of course, I always love the ice cream cakes! Which if you had an app can gain points towards!“

“This was the only ice cream store that could accommodate my nut allergy, I informed the worker of my dilemma and she told me she could take scoops from untouched flavors with a sterile scoop. This did limit what I could get but what I did get was amazing! I truly appreciate the fact they went above and beyond for me! I got the salted caramel crunch and s’mores and they were super good!“

“Sweet Peas is a must try if you’re looking for a nice treat during the summer heat.
They have a great variety of flavours so you’re sure to find one that you’ll love. Along with the great list of flavours, they have great portion sizes too! You definitely get what you pay for. :)
Don’t let the line scare you, it does tend to get busy in the evening but it’s well worth the wait!
The staff also do move quite fast so the wait is never that bad in my opinion, plus they are all super friendly. :)
If you’re looking for a nice treat while walking the Ogunquit strip, definitely check them out! :)
Parking: Street parking can be hard sometimes, it’s easiest to walk here if you’re already walking the Ogunquit strip.“
“The best blizzards in southern Maine are at the Saco DQ, love that they use whole M&M’s in their blizzards instead of being all chopped up. Also they give plenty of treats in the blizzards and aren’t skimpy like other DQ’s I have been to.“
“The ultimate locale to snag an ice cream, lemonade, or a hot dog while indulging in some prime people-watching. As someone who's defenseless against the charms of peppermint stick ice cream, I must admit this one truly tickled my taste buds.“
“Great place and good people, nice wine and cheese for an afternoon snack. Good conversations and knowledge of wines. We've been stopping there for years It just wouldn't be vacation without a stop at the wine and cheese shop“
“My wife and I recently got married in Scarborough Maine, and neither of us much like cake.... however, we both LOVE Ben and Jerry's, so what better way to celebrate than by having Ice Cream Cakes! We touched base with Tom a few months ago and worked on getting our cakes planned out for the wedding. We ended up getting 4 large sheet cakes (each a different flavor combo) and a medium Heart Cake as our 'cutting' cake. Though not as flamboyantly decorated as some wedding cakes (a look we weren't looking for anyway) the Green and Blue icing flowers looked great, and the extra flourishes, and decorative chocolate pieces on the heart cake looked spectacular. And most importantly they tasted AMAZING! Both the DJ and Photographer said they have never seen people literally run up to get pieces of wedding cake before. I can't recommend Tom and his shop highly enough for anyone looking for Ice Cream Cakes for their next celebration! They were also very reasonably priced.“
“The staff was friendly and helpful! Very appreciative when we gave a tip. ? Our milkshakes were yummy. We stopped on our way to Connecticut and our way back from Connecticut. I would like the shake a little thicker but still would stop by again!!
Parking: Parking is close to the store and minimal walking. Easy access for wheel chairs.
Kid-friendliness: Good place for a family!“

“The Winter Citrus Panna Cotta at The Dessert Bar was the absolute best dessert I’ve ever had, coming from a huge sweet tooth. I’ll be thinking about it until the day I return, and the cycle will begin again. Amazing job!“
