“This place is right on the strip. Awesome Location. Sit outside in their 2nd tier area and enjoy the views of the ocean and the amusement park. But the best has yet to come. Our server George was a notch above the rest. Guy was prompt, made us great drinks, very social, and added to what we thought was already a great time. George puts the icing on the cake. Ask him for one of his toasts and you'll be amazed. He's truly an example of great customer service. We look forward to our yearly trip to OOB. Now we look forward even more knowing George will be there and the great drinks that come with it.“

“This is the most efficient ice cream shop I've ever been too. There were probably about a dozen employees or so who were quickly taking and making orders. There are several walk up windows with separate lines. They also have a well designed drive thru window which reminded me of a chic fil a drive thru. They had a very friendly employee walking outside with a tablet who went from car to car taking orders and payments as you were waiting in line, then you drive to the pickup window to get your order. It was very busy around 8:30pm when I went and the drive thru line was so fast despite several cars being in front of me. I ordered a large dugout sundae with oreo and coffee oreo ice cream. It was excellent and a reasonable price for the size of the portion. I will definitely be back the next time I'm craving ice cream.“

“I am not much of a sweets person but we enjoyed the Ice Cream here. It tasted like real ice cream and the prices were average. They also had Acai bowls which was nice. They have picnic tables and corn hole outside, and booth seating inside. We have been a few times over the years and will definitely go back when we're in the area again!“

“Wow the maine blueberry crisp is amazing. Delicious, crunchy crisp, incredible blueberries, just so yum. Had a bite of the double caramel and cookies and the Italian banana pudding and that was also incredible. Will have to be back to try more!!! So nice that you can do multiple flavors in any size and try as many samples as you want! A wonderful experience all around and a nice outdoor seating area to boot!“

“They take cash or cards in exchange for your own creative take on an ice cream adventure. My wife likes the popular Coffee Boston, I do the Banana Split, and my kids like the freezes or floats with their favorite branded sodas. Always a great value and according to my mother-in-law the quality is the same as when she lived down the street in the 70s. Obviously there are a few more choices on the menu than there used to be.“

“Lovely roadside ice cream spot close to downtown Saco, Camp Ellis, and Ocean Park. There’s always shade from the big pine trees along the road and it’s really peaceful. Fun flavors for kids and adults alike. I especially enjoyed the blueberry cheesecake!“

“This place was ranked number 3 in Kennebunk Port, but I think it’s the best. They have plenty of flavors and most of your typical flavors, they even have waffle cones! I got a scoop of Oreo cookie and a scoop of cookie dough, and it was perfect. I got my kids a kitty cookie Monster ice cream in a cup, and they were able to split it, was plenty of ice cream.

Plenty of parking area, there is some outdoor bench seating along with a cute little gazebo lit up! They also have court in pint cups available for ice cream to go!

“The best blizzards in southern Maine are at the Saco DQ, love that they use whole M&M’s in their blizzards instead of being all chopped up. Also they give plenty of treats in the blizzards and aren’t skimpy like other DQ’s I have been to.“

He was helpful to keep me informed of his location, as I drove to find him.(he is a movie ice cream truck after all). “Easy the best ice cream I’ve tried so far. Is super creamy they have great flavors all of them are different than the usual flavors. I had the matcha and blueberry lemon poppy, was amazing . Then the blueberry, Maine salted caramel and ripped banana. So tasty. I would definitely go back. Also I liked the no tasting policy becuase of how much waste you get from the small spoons.“
