That perfect soft but slight chew to a hard serve ice cream you’re looking for. Got the Heavenly Hash, kinda like a classic Rocky Road. The prices are surprisingly low for the size and quality. Parking: There is a parking lot for customers. Since the shop is so busy, the parking lot can get crowded. People are often going out of the one way so sometimes parking can be annoying. Service is so quick here that people are coming in and out constantly so parking frees up fast.“

“My husband and I have been going to Gorgeous Gelato for years. It's been a while since we've been but last weekend, we decided to introduce our granddaughters to it. The older one enjoyed trying blueberry sorbet and ended up ordering it. The little one is 3 so she opted for vanilla and chocolate. It's just as delicious as we remember. They really make the best gelato in New England. It's the closest one to the ones we had in Italy. Oh, and they have sfogiatelle (pastry filled with sweet ricotta) which was legit. Had one of those in Naples, Italy in 2017. This is not Naples level but it brought me back to the experience nonetheless. It's a bit pricey though (almost $7 each). Their prices have gone up and parking in the the city could be a challenge. These are the only reasons why we don't go more often.“

“The best blizzards in southern Maine are at the Saco DQ, love that they use whole M&M’s in their blizzards instead of being all chopped up. Also they give plenty of treats in the blizzards and aren’t skimpy like other DQ’s I have been to.“

“Use to visit as a child 35yrs ago and figured I would stop in for old time sake. The place has same candy counter and all same candy I remember. A large portion of the candy you can not find in a regular store so was such an experience to be able to buy childhood sweets. The staff was so nice and friendly, even showed me a photo of the original ladies from the days I would shop the glass display of candies. If you want to a breath of fresh air from your past of any decade before the mid 80's this is the place.“

High quality though, and the ambiance is great.
