It's almost impossible to walk by Beal's in the summer, with the smell of fresh waffle cones coming from the store, and not stop for ice cream. The smells lured us in and we weren't disappointed! The waffle cone was tasty and can comfortably fit two generous scoops. Take your time choosing your flavors because they have lots of options, and you can sample before deciding. Great ice cream parlor in Portland! I had a scoop of the chocolate doughboy on a sugar cone. The ice cream was delicious and I was covered with ice cream by the time I finished. The staff here are very friendly and service is great! My friend had a strawberry shake which was thick and delicious as well.
