Beautiful and busy... just the way it should be!I thought that the line was surprisingly quick in its progression. Usually when I walk into a place and see half a dozen children pointing to a menu above their heads while surrendering to their overwhelming ADD... I turn around and come back later. In this case, I hardly made up my mind before the Coastal Creamery staff worked through each child's order. Visited this wonderful place on a trip from Las Vegas. I don't eat a lot of sugar anymore but when your wife wants ice cream on vacation, you just order. I tried the Maine Tracks and the Maine blueberry...because I am a visitor. The tracks was great but the blueberry was just amazing. The service was fast. The location was clean even with a steady flow of customers, in November. This place needs to franchise and share its greatness with more people.

Went to Coastal Creamery after dinner at Luke's lobster and what a perfect dessert!!! I had an ice cream sandwich and she had a the homemade coastal cookie cake. Perfect addition to Portland
