My family and I have been eating at Mekhong Thai Kennebunk since 1992. due to the nature of my employment, I have had the opportunity to not only taste the cuisines of Thai restaurants across the United States, but I’ve also had the pleasure of eating at Thai restaurants across Thailand. Mekhong Thai Kennebunk is a fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere and a wide variety of options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. The food is authentic and delicious, with standouts including Pad Thai, Green Curry, Thai Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Crab Rangoon, and steamed Haddock in ginger sauce. Everything tastes fresh, portions are large enough for a second meal, and the food is served in less than 10 minutes. The restaurant is spotless, everyone is super nice, and the presentation is great. It is the best Thai food in the area and a must-visit for a late-night Thai restaurant. Despite rumors about new ownership, the food is as authentic and delicious as ever, offering generous portions at a great price point. Highly recommended.
