I went to the Hannaford in Saco today to cash a small lottery ticket and get some groceries. When I got to the service desk I could see that the man working at the customer service desk was angry. I asked him if he could please cash my lottery ticket and he said yes but I could tell he was very very angry. I asked him if he was okay and he said not really I'm very tired. and just his whole demeanor made me really not want to shop at that store. if I ever see that man there again...read full review

Customer service should always be open. I wated to get somethin. And clerk was doing paperwork with a clsed sign at window.

Used self checkout. Was asked to weigh it.
Place it on area that indicated it was a scale.
( big scale sign. ). Didn’t work, so I asked for assistance. Store employee said to ignore the sign as it wasn’t a scale. I asked her where the real scale was and she said in front of the scanner. I asked her why it wasn’t marked that it was the real scale. She said she didn’t know. Other customers nearby also were wondering the same.
