I went to the Hannaford in Saco today to cash a small lottery ticket and get some groceries. When I got to the service desk I could see that the man working at the customer service desk was angry. I asked him if he could please cash my lottery ticket and he said yes but I could tell he was very very angry. I asked him if he was okay and he said not really I'm very tired. and just his whole demeanor made me really not want to shop at that store. if I ever see that man there again working at the store I will never deal with him again and I will just walk out of the store. the time he was working was that 215 p.m. on friday. I'm not sure that I will even go back to the store honestly. I don't like to have to deal with angry people who don't want to do their job.

Used self checkout. Was asked to weigh it.
Place it on area that indicated it was a scale.
( big scale sign. ). Didn’t work, so I asked for assistance. Store employee said to ignore the sign as it wasn’t a scale. I asked her where the real scale was and she said in front of the scanner. I asked her why it wasn’t marked that it was the real scale. She said she didn’t know. Other customers nearby also were wondering the same.
