I was told by my brother who visits Kennebunkport often that we had to go to federal jacks for lunch. You have to walk down a small street and when you think you’re going up the steps to the front door that entrance is blocked and the signage wasn’t very clear, but we found stairs on the water side of the building which took us into the restaurant. We were seated right away and had a very nice waitress named Phoebe. I had a turkey BLT (very filling) with a side of macaroni and cheese and a cup of clam chowder (delicious.) My husband had the fish and chips which he said was very good. The day we were, there was very rainy and overcast, but the views from our seat were wonderful.

Located in the charming Kennebunkport, this must be a popular dining spot. It was my last day so I wanted to try the 'lobster roll'. Disappointing! The lobster was not succulent or scrumptious. It was cold. Unappetizing. Tasteless. Un-Impressive! But tge fries were good. And the bread was nicely buttered & toasted. I would provide the option to have the lobster roll warm, with a buttery garlic sauce, like scampi, dripping on the lobster meat. And get better lobster meat. It was soggy. The young ladies were efficient & wonderful service Came. Had the lobster roll. And was disappointed. If Fed Jacks want to leave a lasting impression make good food.

We hosted our wedding welcome party here, and it was absolutely perfect! Federal Jacks us to rent out the outdoor deck, which overlooked Dock Square and offered the most beautiful views of downtown Kennebunk, such a stunning setting to kick off our wedding weekend.
Luke was wonderful to work with, he helped us select a great variety of appetizers, and he was so accommodating, even allowing us to bring in our own decor to make the space feel personal and special. The food was delicious, the bar service was spectacular, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the atmosphere.
It was the perfect blend of coastal charm, great food, and warm hospitality and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start our wedding celebration!

I went to Federer Jack’s for dinner with my family and friends, and we had such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with amazing views that made the evening feel extra special. The drinks were excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious especially the Chicken Cajun Pasta, shrimp, lobster bisque, and Chicken Ravioli. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented.
While the service could have been a little more attentive, everything else was so fantastic that it still deserves a full five stars. Federer Jack’s is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to, highly recommend!

I make a point to stop into Federal Jack’s every fall when I’m in Kennebunkport, and it’s always worth it. This time I came in on a busy afternoon and grabbed a seat at the bar.
Lauren made a great margarita—well-balanced and not overly sweet—and was friendly without being over the top. She took the time to check in and made the visit feel relaxed.
The bar has a great atmosphere with great views, especially in the off-season. Looking forward to coming back next year.

We had several appetizers and I had a lobster roll, which was horrible. The lobster was overcooked and dry when they reheated it and the butter on the side was tasteless and was probably oil instead of butter. It was a huge disappointment and a ripoff for $32 for 4 oz of dry lobster meat. The appetizers were also disappointing. It seems they must get their food from a distributor instead of preparing it there, although I hate to say it but Cisco probably does better. No one enjoyed their food. We won’t be back.
Great view, excellent food! The service is hit or miss at the bar. Last time, the service was awesome, I wish I'd remembered her name so I could give her a shout-out. Short girl, curly dark hair.

Great brew pub with lots of draft beers that the bartender, Lauren, was really knowledgeable on and she gave awesome service!! The menu is perfect and yummy pub food and you really can’t beat the prices!!

Came for the beer and lobster, wasn’t disappointed. Nice location by the water. Staff were friendly enough. Food was very good and you get plenty of it. Beers I tried were great and I even bought t-shirt in the gift shop below the venue!

Shared a twin lobster special (Only $30!) on Indigenous People’s Day with my mom and had a lovely time. We both got a delicious Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale and enjoyed some fresh Maine lobster.
