Food is good but prices keep going up. Getting pricey. May be time to look around
This is the best Chinese food in town. The only thing that Lucky Star does better is wonton soup (way more veggies).
I recommend the chicken wings, the boneless spareribs, and the beef teriyaki - all three are very moist, tender, and flavorful.

Overall the food is ok. My husband likes it more than I do. My biggest issue is that the crab rangoon is sweet instead of savory. Ugh! I just can't order it. And don't get me started about duck sauce. No matter how much food you order there's only 1 half-full tiny cup of duck sauce per meal. And if you ask for another, there's an additional cost. Seems like an easy way to make customers happy would be to stop being so stingy with a simple, inexpensive condiment.

I only went here tonight because the other Chinese restaurant was short staffed and a long line. I got crab Rangoon and beef with broccoli. OMG. Never will go there again. It cost me $27!!!!!

If you haven't visited Jia Mei Le Wah in Kennebunk yet, you should. It's a quaint older building, but when you walk in, you are greeted and you feel like you're home. The environment reminds me of the sitcom Cheers. Everyone knows everyone! If you're a newbie, the staff and patrons greet you and will engage in conversation. It's a wonderful hidden gem in the Kennebunk community. I frequent this establishment often! The food is good, but more importantly, you feel you are amongst friends!

We moved to Kennebunk 6 years ago. We got take out here and were so excited to have fresh, well prepared Asian food. The service was great. In the past 2 years it just seems like every time we go it is worse. Lack of attention to detail, indifferent service. Last visit the food was 20 minutes late, came out soggy and lukewarm. The only good news was while waiting I had a drink at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and attentive.

I have been there before but after last night's meal I won't be going here again. Very disappointed in the food. Egg roll was almost hollow. The ribs were very tough and the chicken was not good. Portion very small. I am sorry it was 35.00 for 2 people wasn't worth it. Sorry Rose Brown
Food is always good. Had the lunch special could not eat it all . Doggie Bag . Time to take down the COVID protection. Will be back
