Great restaurant and best breakfast! We go a lot in the summer months and it’s great! They do get very busy ( bc it is good!) so know that there will likely be a small wait. Its worth it though! Just be patient and kind to staff. They can’t help that everyone wants to eat there! They were happy to give my husband a cup of coffee while we waited. ?

The best blueberry pancakes and their tater toes are amazing. The corn beef hash is great, and their Bloody Mary’s are a meal in themselves. The staff is friendly and attentive. Fantastic people, great food.

The wait time can be long on the weekend so be prepared. You should view the wait as a testament to how wonderful they truly are.
While waiting take a stroll to Wallingford Farms and grab the kids a free cookie and miniature pumpkin.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. While we were waiting, the chef/restaurant owner came out from the kitchen and gave us a “pup in a cup” pop up toy to my toddler daughter just because. It was a beautiful gesture and appreciated. The food was excellent, best corned beef hash I have ever had, pumpkin pancakes were mouthwatering and coffee was great. Definitely a place I could come back to.

Abysmal customer service. Inattentive, flippant, rude, and ineffectual host staff. Despite multiple extensions of our wait time (okay, I can be understanding of this) there was zero communication to us despite being 2 feet away. I had to approach the hosts multiple times for an update just to be told “another 15-20” multiple times without any acknowledgement of the inconvenience. Again, communication would have informed our plan with two hungry little ones who could not wait the 65 minutes it ended up being (originally told 30 minutes). If this were the busy season I could be understanding of a hectic atmosphere, but it wasn’t the case. When we went up to tell them they could take us off the list, and we were going to head out, suddenly they were ready to seat us. We mentioned that the lack of communication was problematic and we got a smirk from the host. If I were the manager, I would make sure to mark these two for some serious retraining.
