I actually decided to stop in to The Tavern at the Kennebunk Inn for a drink and light dinner. Guys, the hours have changed here, they're now open Monday's and Tuesday's as well!!! I recommend you stop in for a quick bite, or drink. Cozy ambiance!
Food and drinks: Great place to get a bite to eat and a drink!
Very friendly staff that was incredibly helpful as I had a vehicle breakdown and that's why I stayed.

We stopped in for lunch with some friends. Haddock chowder was full of haddock.and the bloody mary mix was made onsite. Everything we ordered was well prepared and tasted great. We didn't stay in the rooms, so I can not describe those.
Beautiful location and delicious food!
I stopped by for lunch being local to Kennebunk and it was awesome. Great service, food was great and although it was very cozy and inviting inside we decided to sit out in the back patio as it was a warm day. I will be back!

Came here for a date night last week at the restaurant and loved the cozy setting, a nice quiet dinner, delicious food, and friendly service. Will definitely be back!
We had a great stay , my wife and I loved how original but modern , it was great all around ! Highly recommended!!
My sister & I just stayed here & it was an amazing visit. We had Rm 21, King suite & it was very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. Tavern was closed the first night. We went to Duffy’s down the street & had a wonderful dinner. It was a different experience for us, as we are used to a regular hotel/ motel. Coffee etc & delicious cookies are always available in the front entrance Thank you for a great visit
Nice historic place. Great bar and staff.

We had a wonderful experience at the Kennebunk Inn! We had a king bed on the first floor that was extremely comfortable and a bathroom that was great! For such an old inn, we found I everything updated. We attended happy hour and enjoyed the appetizers of jumbo shrimp cocktail and crab cakes. That event set the mood for two days and nights of great fun. We traveled to Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Biddeford and had a spectacular time. For an old inn, it offers many amenities and the staff are excellent.
Rooms: Spacious, clean and in working order!
Nearby activities: Easy breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. Local library and Brick House historical museum.
Safety: Very safe!
Walkability: Many places to walk for food, drinks or pastry!
Food & drinks: Happy hour with discounted food and drink!

I absolutely loved my stay here! This is the only place I've ever wanted to return to simply because of how much I enjoyed the hotel. The staff was incredible, the location was lovely, and the wifi was surprisingly decent – impressive for a building with so much history (over 200 years old!). Parking was excellent, and Kennebunk is a perfect central location if you're planning on exploring Maine and the surrounding area, just like we were. The only thing to note is that the showers are a bit on the small side, which is understandable given the age of the building. Overall, it wasn't a major inconvenience for a stay that exceeded expectations in every other way.
