We visited Alisson's during the off-season, and despite many other places being closed, this spot was bustling, which is a great sign! Convenient paid parking is available right behind the building.
Alisson's is a true pub—it offers a comfortable, lively atmosphere with traditional pub fare, but with a delicious Maine twist. In its category (distinguishing it from a cafe, standard restaurant, or fine dining), it's absolutely worth a visit.
We ordered two of their creative menu items: the Henny Chesney (hot chicken sandwich) and the Happy 'Gil'more. Both were great! The hot sauce on the Henny Chesney was particularly fantastic and made the whole sandwich a hit.
The atmosphere was cool, featuring a fun moving beer menu display. The service was excellent; both the host and our waitress were really nice and made the experience very welcoming.
If you’re looking for a high-quality, bustling pub with great food in Kennebunkport, Alisson's is a solid choice!

We travel and eat out a lot (been to 44 states and 14 countries) so I don't say this lightly when I say that the lobster bisque lobster roll is 10/10 as well as the clam chowder. I will be dreaming about that lobster roll for years to come.

Need to update your site. Two different sites showed they open at 11:30 am. Called said it was 12 when they open. On a tour bus so did not have much time. Everyone is standing in line waiting for them to open…… Tour bus even said they open at 11:30. Would have loved to try your restaurant.. Hope you read and update for the next buses

The hostess wasn’t the friendliest of ladies, but don’t let that stop you from visiting! My husband and I ordered the petite lobster trio and the fish and chips, both were very tasty. The location itself is super cute and has such a nice vibe. We also enjoyed a few cocktails the Apple Cider Mimosa, Campfire Mule, and Gettin’ Figgy With It and all three were delicious in their own way. Definitely worth checking out!

I had a “Proper” lobster roll (lobster chunks, a lettuce leaf and a little mayo on a toasted, buttered, top sliced hot dog bun) 😋 along with potato salad and New England clam chowder. All delicious.

We were on a tour bus so it got very busy quickly. Our server did a great job handling the rush. Good experience

We came to Maine with a goal to try some local Maine lobster and Alissons was amazing. Tons of lobster in the roll and the lobster Mac and cheese. Both were delicious. Great place to visit if you're in town!!

We love stopping here when in Kennebunkport. The food is delicious and portions and prices are good. Especially loved the lobster bisque and lobster rolls. My husband had Clam chowder and fish sandwich which were great. Staff were amazing. It’s usually crowded so plan on a wait.

Never disappoints. Plenty of options. Lobster rolls and lobster bisque is great (creamy, flavorful, and chunks of lobster). Love that you can order a petite roll with bisque. No reservations but can waitlist off yelp. Risotto was a little too el dente but such a great value with all the seafood in it and a nice flavor. I like the deviled egg potato salad option for a side for sometime less greasy. Seasonal beers and even a pumpkin chair cider. Great server too.

Salmon was the best I had in a long time, cooked perfectly, and the rice was cooked perfectly as well (I feel like some American restaurants struggle with properly cooking rice, so genuinely thought about this as I was enjoying my meal). The one tiny thing- green beans were essentially just freshly microwaved from a bag like I make at home every week. They seasoned everything else so well, including someone else's brussel sprouts. If they could just add garlic or something.

My wife and I were excited to come and maybe we just ordered the wrong things but we would not recommend this place to anyone. The food relied on quantity over quality. The bisque was more flour than anything else. We ordered a selection of appetizers and honestly the best one in our opinion was the pork dumplings which they probably didn't even make fresh. The service wasn't great either; we waited 15 minutes just for the check and she never once offered to refill our waters. They basically sat us in a corner and forgot about us. We just don't get the hype.
