We went there for lunch and had awesome meals. I ordered a lobster roll and must say I never had one with this much lobster meat before! It was loaded! Loved it! The sweet potato fries were cooked just right too! Just crispy enough!My husband ordered a lobster club sandwich which is a double decker with one layer of lobster meat and the other with bacon lettuce and tomatoes! He couldn't finish it! So good and very filling! You definitely get your money's worth. Great atmosphere eating out on the deck too!

Great atmosphere. We ate lunch outside on a tent covered dock. We both ordered cheese burgers with fries and coleslaw. The burgers were great. Unfortunately the only gluten free options were salad. There were no gluten free rolls for the burger. Beautiful views of the river. Service was good.Dietary restrictions: Very little gluten free options.

Stopped in for a quick evening bite on our last night in Kennebunkport. Wonderful evening on the wharf patio. Food was good, not great. Lobster stew was tasty but too thick and heavy for my taste. Was hoping for something more like a bisque. Mussels were cooked well but wine sauce was too sweet. They need to use a drier white wine for this.It was a pleasant meal but not the best we had during our stay.

I ordered the haddock wrap, and there were only tiny pieces of black and haddock on it. It did not taste like haddock or fish at all. It just tasted like little Brown burned pieces.

Three stars because of the amazing location, decor, and history. Zero stars for the food, drinks, hospitality, etc. Once an icon, now just a joint that caters to tourists. Such a shame.

What a pretty spot to have lunch! We ate outside, and truly enjoyed out meal. Lobster roll was fantastic! Highly recommend this place. Good drinks as well.

Service and Ambiance were great. Food was OK not tremendous and it's Kennebunkport so it was pricey. There are lots of good restaurants in this town clearly one of the nicer locations.
The best part was the atmosphere on the deck with the views around. Other than that, the hostess was kind of crabby, which isn’t the most pleasant first impression for your first time to a restaurant. The clam chowder was quite average. Tasted like something the opened from a can and half microwaved until it was room temperature. Ordered steamers for the main course and they tasted like steamers do, but also room temperature. My friends reported the lobster roll and fish and chips to be nothing special also. Considering the price points, not really sure I’d recommend it to friends.

We had Lobster Stew with more lobster than we expected, and the most tender PEI Muscles in a delicious broth... mopped up with wonderful warm chibatta bread. Our server Alexus F was SO nice, and helped us pick blueberry pie with ice-cream, and bread pudding for our deserts. A perfect meal looking out over the boats and birds as the sun set.

Beautiful week up in Maine, but the Arundel Wharf Restaurant sucked out loud! Why? Before we were seated, we waited 15 minutes for a drink, that is a bit long don't you think while the bartender was tell the other bartender what to put in the mixed drinks she was making. Then the hostess was seating a foursome and one said can we sit near the water, well the hostess slammed down the menus and said, I guess! We got out meals I started out with clam chowder just warm, she had to take it back and reheat it. One in our party had steak tips, with a wire in her tips, the waitress said oh that's from the grill!! Well, she didn't eat it and they did take if off her bill. Come on you don't say want something else?!! The food was just ok so sorry it was our last day of vacation. Short staffed to bout should of went to Allison's the best in Kennebunkport, Me.

The food was pretty bad. Arguably illness-inducing. Mussels were sketchy. Best thing we had was the garden salad which were just vegetables from the grocery store. Had the lobster stew, also not good. Ahi sesame noodles were fine but could get better ones from a noodle lunch spot. Gave it 2 stars for the view. And because one star reviews should not be taken seriously.
