Fresh, delicious food. Things I might not take the time to make at home. It's a little pricey but so nice for a treat.

We have been going to Cape Porpoise Kitchen for 20 years. The new ownership has degraded the quality big time. Pies , donuts and muffins are outsourced. We are very disappointed for this little gem. Time will hurt this gem over time.

One of my just stop places for my summer getaway!
I was glad to find this cute cafe and shop! There were two guys behind the counter that were pretty busy helping others so I knew it would take a while to order out of the case. For this reason, I wish they had more pre-packaged things but maybe I was just late. The employees were super nice and I loved the salads I did pick up here.

This is a sandwich spot with Maine themed food and beverages. To the good, sandwiches are pretty good. But the coffee is awful and the service is worse. If your spot is so popular that it’s a 45 minute wait for a sandwich, that’s really something you should tell someone before they place an order. Edited. I was going to give 4 stars for the food and 1 for the service. But they burned the grill cheese I ordered for my kiddo. And the second grilled cheese they ordered to make up for the burnt one.

Ordered the BLT from the menu today and went to pick it up. The place was not busy (maybe 4 customers inside that had ordered already) and when I opened the sandwich the bread was literally in pieces, brown lettuce, garlic aioli was missing and not even edible. The young guys working there were missing charges of products for other customers in line and the customers would have to tell them they did not charge them, others walked out when they had placed an order and the young workers told them they had lost the order and never made it after the people waited for over 30 minutes for a call-in order they had already made.
The owners of this place need to seriously get their act together and start paying attention to who they have working there. I used to love this place but the service is terrible and it is better to take the time and do things right with quality (like they used to) and stop focusing on quantity with poor quality. Really disappointed and this place can do much better.

Went to order from the holiday menu at 4:15 the day the ordering closes, on the website they say taking orders til 7.. gentleman on the phone tells me “they just stopped taking orders ten minutes ago” — I’m 9 months pregnant and too tired to argue so I hang up, but this is honestly on par for them, customer service is always questionable- in the summer if you want a sandwich or cold case food expect some convoluted ordering situation and to wait longer than you’d think.

Waited 10 minutes after ordering a fresh made sandwich. Got a pre made sandwich they took out of the refrigerator case. They claimed they had just made it . So I accepted it and drove 5 minutes home to eat it. Sandwich was soggy and clearly had been made much earlier in the day. Lettuce was brown and rest of the ingredients were mediocre at best.

I loved the vegan options here - different salads and pasta by weight at the counter with a small space to eat in or tables in front of the restaurant. I had the curried cauliflower salad, farro and edamame salad, pasta with pesto, and a vegan almond spice cookie. They also had grilled asparagus and broccoli salad available. Nice little place to stop.
The breakfast sandwiches are great! And the staff is really nice
