Excellent staff and attention to our party of 4. It was a milestone birthday celebration and we were able to have a nice leisurely meal, drinks and conversation. Prices were reasonable, serving sizes were perfect and quality all around. Nice complimentary sparkling Rose for the birthday girl. A can't miss destination.
Perfect evening during prelude opening weekend. Grateful for the 8pm reservation/seating after Xmas carols. Only feedback, food wasn't very hot, I had onion soup (soup was thin broth, and warm, not hot). Steak frites, fries amazing, steak warm not hot, but very tasty. Nikki was outstanding!
Had a wonderful dinner at Chez Rosa. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious , especially the goat cheese in the salad special. We will definitely be back.
Food was great. Fondue appetizer, special salad, steak frites, wonderful cocktails. Server was nice but the service was slower than slow.
The service and food were exceptional. Couldn't have been better! We will definitely be returning !!
Outstanding food! Presentation was lovely and all of the dishes were seasoned perfectly. This was a special early Christmas dinner with family from out of state, it was a memorable meal. The service could have been a little more polished. Our server was very young and inexperienced. We ordered a bottle of wine and had to refill our own glasses, unacceptable.
This was our first visit to Chez Rosa's new location and it has a very energetic vibe and at the same time we enjoyed its warm and welcoming atmosphere during a very cold Christmas Prelude visit! The food selection is wonderful; specials are fully explained. Our waitress was very personable and professional.
Lovely space. Friendly server. Food was OK. Boeuf Bourgingoun was very very average. Dry and disappointing.
We did not have a great experience at all. 8pm we sat down and our entrees were dropped at 9:40. All that was said when the plates were dropped was “ You were behind 2 big parties”. We could have accepted an acknowledgment earlier on about the delay of a small kitchen clearly overwhelmed, but not a single person/manager came over to apologize, offer a glass of wine or dessert, and the total lack of care left us feeling like we'd made the wrong choice to have dinner at Chez Rosa last night. We asked for to go boxes and left with luke warm food. Customer service goes a very long way. We can understand a backed up kitchen, if that even was the issue, but not caring at all about customer service is a non-negotiable when spending precious time and money.
Honestly, the food and service were top-notch up until dessert. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding or misinterpretation on either our part or the restaurant's led to an abrupt end to an otherwise solid dining experience.

Chez Rosa: Kyle Robinson and Yazmin Saraya Jean, are the very talented and “down to earth” proprietors.
Kyle and Yazmin have created “C'est le meilleur”
(aka “the best,”) of the classic French bistro scene of our favorite French bistros in the 11th and 12th arrondissements in Paris
Chez Rosa is the “gem” of the go to spots in the Kennebunks, especially if you enjoy authentic French cuisine.
But, more importantly, if you want to share a casual evening with friends, family and those you love, sipping wine and sampling exceptional classic French comfort food (locally sourced with fresh ingredients and seasonal dishes) in a classic Parisienne bistro, do not miss dining at Chez Rosa.
Or, maybe, just sit at the bar exploring their innovative craft cocktails and enjoy the atmosphere.
The one thing you can always be sure of is that there will be magic on their menu board; the dining experience will be special and extraordinary, and the staff will be wonderful at recommendations, wine pairings and personalized service. All at affordable prices.
There is something so very relaxed and comforting when you’re dining here — the cheese fondue, French onion soup, steak frites, pollock Wellington, beef bourguignon and crème brûlée, just to name a few …
As locals, we’ve been dining at Chez Rosa, as often as possible, since they opened in 2020; and we are never-ever disappointed.

The menu is limited so take a look at it on line first. The owners are very particular and every dish comes out of the kitchen hot and cooked to perfection. We prefer the first floor or sitting at the bar. The first floor is cozy in the winter months and they have outdoor dining in the summer!
Chez Rosa in Kennebunk lived up to every expectation (high ones!) my husband and I had for a special dinner out with a friend. Driving up to the beautiful classic New England barn/house decked out in twinkling lights was a great first impression, felt festive. The interior is cozy with a beautiful bar on the main level as well as upstairs. Most people that night chose to stay downstairs, tucked into intimate corners with warm, soft lighting. Our trio went upstairs to the vaulted ceilinged room that has a slightly more contemporary feel and great acoustics for our conversation, and still feels cozy. The food was outstanding, fresh, seasonal & local. I chose the chicken liver pate with cornichons & a good, grainy mustard. Absolutely delicious. My main course was the duck breast on a bed of lentils, scrumptious seasoning & sauce that the lentils soaked up. My companions both chose the special, a perfect-for-autumn pork schnitzel served with an autumn salad that had the most amazing goat cheese bed. We learned the cheese was from a local farmer. Topped off the meal with creme brûlée. And I can't forget to recommend the cocktail of bourbon, burnt sugar and bitters. Died and gone to heaven...
My husband and I had a delightful dinner experience last night as we celebrated his birthday. Everything about our dinner was perfect and we can't wait to come back to Chez Rosa!
A real nice place to eat, it was fast and served with great touch. We prefered the precedent restaurant set-up at Rosa where everyone can see the chef do his work, but it is a personal preference. Tables near the entrance are somewhere exposed to fresh air from outside (mid November) and we quite understand that every request can not be answered on a short time reservation (3 days before). Maybe a negative warmer fan pushing cold air outside at door opening can resolved this tiny irritant. The owners of this place are a very sympatic couple
