Earth At Hidden Pond

Earth has become my favorite restaurant ever! The ambience of this restaurant is stunning, inside and outside of the building. The food prep made everything look so gorgeous that you don't want to mess up the plate!! That being said, I have never had a more delicious meal than I have had now twice! The staff is unforgettable! We were celebrating this time and the waiter, Kurt bought us champagne and a couple of treats to try. This is the best dining experience I've ever had! 🥰🥰 Bravo! 👏❤️

First of all, this place is gorgeous. I've wanted to eat here for years, and waited for a birthday celebration to finally make a reservation. The staff were lovely, and the venue was beautiful, but I was fairly disappointed in the food after all that time wanting to go. I started with the tuna- it wasn't bad, but there were three tiny pieces, more like a tasting menu. The next dish was beef tartar- one of my favorite dishes. The portion was tiny- a few spoon fulls, it was heavily seasoned with what almost seemed like mayo, and the chips brought with it were all stale. Next I had a salad with a dressing that really lacked flavor- it just wasn't great. I finished off with the fettuccine, which was a decent portion, but it was bland and kind of lack luster. For a $250 dinner for two people, I definitely expected more flavorful food. Again, a beautiful environment with lovely staff, but was a little sad about the food.

This is a lovely restaurant. The dining room is rustic but tasteful. The food is amazing and we enjoyed the format of choosing 3 or 4 courses from 4 different lists. The pumpkin dessert wasn't as flavorful as we would have liked and the base of delicious potato under my steak wasn't hot. But everything tastes so good a few lapses are tolerable. We'll be back.

Very nice spot. Great ambiance and service. The food was very good, some courses outstanding and some good.

Stunning decor and ambiance. Service was attentive, polite, and informed. The food was delicious with our favorites being: butternut squash soup with lobster, roasted cauliflower, venison and halibut. The octopus was well prepared but the sauce seemed to over-power and the cavatelli seemed to have an overly-starchy flavor. The experience was exceptional and we will definitely dine again!

Our waiter Kurt was amazing, very helpful in many ways. The food from beginning to end so good. Drinks & wine were very good. We were there for my husband's birthday "69" and we will have this wonderful night as a great memory. Thank you & hopefully we will be back again soon

This was our third time at Earth, and we had friends from Seattle visiting. They travel around the world, and they thought this was a five star outstanding meal. The food was beautifully presented and the flavors were incredible. We will definitely return.

Earth is so special in every way!! The atmosphere is super cool and elegant, making for a perfect choice for a special occasion. The service is always welcoming and kind. They make you feel so special like you are the only guests there. The food is top notch!! It's delicious and unparalleled!!! You can't top this place!!

Had heard so many good things about this place so we were excited to try with family celebrating 48 wedding anniversary. It truly was perfect in every way. Staff. Food. Ambiance perfect. Highly recommend we will be back!

The food is the star here, with equally amazing tastes and presentations. Beautiful, rustic setting with great service. This was our third visit over a few years and we look forward to returning. Earth should be a "must" on every foodie's Maine list.

The dining was fabulous Charles guided us through The salad was incredibly fresh The best halibut ever!! Loved the presentation on the crab cake! The fettuccine was light and delicious Just like the finest in Italy The wine selections were tops Thanks!

4.5 rating! The food was absolutely incredible. Actually the best meal I've ever eaten in my life. Every single course was simply the best. Often I go out to eat and I just think about how I could have made the meal better at home but everything here was 10/10 incredible and definitely not something I could recreate at home. Scallops, cavatelli, cauliflower, crème brûlée all simply amazing and divine and I'll be dreaming about it for the rest of my life. The reason I give it 4.5 instead of 5 is because we got off to a rougher start. The negatives: First, it took 25 minutes from being seated to put our food order in. However, after that, the courses came out fairly quickly so that was positive. Second, we made a 5 pm reservation for our anniversary. There was one two-seat window table left. We asked if we could sit there instead and the man said, no because there were two people with a 5 pm reservation who would be sitting there...
