Earth At Hidden Pond

Had heard so many good things about this place so we were excited to try with family celebrating 48 wedding anniversary. It truly was perfect in every way. Staff. Food. Ambiance perfect. Highly recommend we will be back!

The food is the star here, with equally amazing tastes and presentations. Beautiful, rustic setting with great service. This was our third visit over a few years and we look forward to returning. Earth should be a "must" on every foodie's Maine list.

The dining was fabulous Charles guided us through The salad was incredibly fresh The best halibut ever!! Loved the presentation on the crab cake! The fettuccine was light and delicious Just like the finest in Italy The wine selections were tops Thanks!

4.5 rating! The food was absolutely incredible. Actually the best meal I've ever eaten in my life. Every single course was simply the best. Often I go out to eat and I just think about how I could have made the meal better at home but everything here was 10/10 incredible and definitely not something I could recreate at home. Scallops, cavatelli, cauliflower, crème brûlée all simply amazing and divine and I'll be dreaming about it for the rest of my life. The reason I give it 4.5 instead of 5 is because we got off to a rougher start. The negatives: First, it took 25 minutes from being seated to put our food order in. However, after that, the courses came out fairly quickly so that was positive. Second, we made a 5 pm reservation for our anniversary. There was one two-seat window table left. We asked if we could sit there instead and the man said, no because there were two people with a 5 pm reservation who would be sitting there...

Unique environment and certainly a hidden gem. Our server, Grant and overall food quality, the course pacing and blend of fresh ingredients were simply outstanding. The carrot and ginger soup was full of flavor and scrumptious. Beautiful presentation, Earth main dining room is rustic and decorated wonderfully. Since it is a smallish area, we found that the ambience can be easily disrupted by a loud and/or larger party unless dining in the glassed patio portion. Earth is not for the cost conscious but even so, I can't imagine anyone leaving disappointed with their evening out. Certainly looking forward to our next visit.

This is such a beautiful restaurant with a menu that is extensive. We decided to forgo desserts and have the Tuna sashimi and Risotto to start... followed by fois gras and the crab cake... the food gras was extraordinary ! Finally for the main we had the Duck and lobster Thermidor. The Duck won hands down, as the Lobster was overshadowed by the cheese. We loved the experience. This is good value for the quality of the food...

Food, service, and ambience were amazing. The presentations were excellent, the staff was well trained. Our server was attentive and accommodating, but not overbearing. Their gluten-free options are limited, but what they had was very good. They did try to accommodate us, although they didn't initially remember we weee GF from our reservations. Not a big deal, most Retaurants don't remember. The price fix menu also had enough diversity to make it an evening of good choices. The only thing I would say is that while it was a wonderful dining experience it was just a little pricey. That said if you know you're going to be spending at least $300 for two people, and it's a celebration the. it was well worth it. Nice job chefs, ty

Overall we had a terrific experience. Not all the dishes were outstanding - the soup was a little thick- but had amazing flavor. Cavatelli - was a little thick and a little gooey. But the seafood stew and the short rib pasta were divine. The carrots with feta were also to die for. I wandered into the restroom at some point and other guests were raving about the donuts. They were not wrong. The wine service was also spot on with our dishes. Services was outstanding. Even called to let us know they had an earlier seating. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing! We are on our honeymoon and the food was delicious. The server made our evening special, I could ask for a better experience.

Beautiful restaurant! However, food was a bit overpriced, even though you got a great prix fixe menu option. Server did mess up our order several times and it was clear they wanted us to pack it up after only an hour and a half, even though we were sat 30 minutes prior to our original reservation, and another part of the restaurant was almost full. Decent experience, don't know if I would go again though.

As advertised and totally worth the hype and cost. Just reading the menu was a treat but to see the plates appear and be as flavorful as they were beautiful was a treat for all four courses. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

Food was absolutely wonderful!!! I highly recommend this restaurant, so much better than any of the other restaurants in the area. Drinks and wait staff were very good. The grounds are beautiful and decor matches perfectly with the food to table theme.

The whole experience was a wow. The food is so special and the setting beautiful and relaxing. And the service was super. Often dining alone can be uncomfortable but the hostess and waiter went out of their way to make sure it was a very enjoyable evening for me. While hard to get a reservation keep working at it as it is guaranteed to be at the top of your list for a spectacular dining experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. We had 4 courses and felt full, but not stuffed because the food quality was so excellent. They clearly use high quality ingredients.
