I swear the people reviewing this little deli are confusing it for the wrong place just based on some of the details in the posts. #1, there is no "cook" behind anyone. It is one guy running the deli by himself, and he is awesome! There are no "kids" running the cash register. #2, there is no guy with blonde curly hair behind the counter. I suspect this is because the location is falsely showing up as by the bridge, not around the corner in front of Abacus. Ok, so here is my review. Sorry no pics. We come from CT to the Old Salt Pantry just for their lobster rolls. A few weeks ago when we visited for a few days we went there *every day*, it is that good. My wife is an aficianado of lobster rolls and we know virtually every place, touristy or otherwise. And by far these are the best lobster rolls to be found. He makes a really good BLT sandwich that is among my favorites too! The trick, we once found, is that he uses a combination of clarified butter and a touch of mayonnaise on his cold lobster salad. Just don't expect to get a hot CT style lobster roll unless you ask for it.

I was up at Kennebunkport for vacation for a whale watch and I was looking for breakfast for me and my Grandparents. I think it’s run by one guy, but he knows what he’s doing, the breakfast sandwiches are absolutely amazing! I went back and forth a couple times with different orders and the guy helped me out everytime! Service was great! Food was great! And it seems a lot of the residents of Maine know him.Whenever I’m in Kennebunkport, he’ll be my go-to guy for food! 10/10!

Someone recommended we go here. The food was just OK. I came all the way from the south east to have a lobster roll in Maine and I was a little disappointed. I heard it was just like the best in town and I just felt like it had too much mayonnaise, the bread was pretty good and the meat was really good. I split it with my teenager because it was $34. Which was painful because I was imagining that it would just rock my world! However, it is lobster… In Main… So yummy either way. There’s no place to eat inside and there is parking across the street which is four dollars an hour

Went here for lunch today. They have some pretty creative names for their sandwiches. My wife and I split a sandwich because we weren’t that hungry. Well, the sandwich was enormous! It rivals the size of the sammies that The Stage and Carnegie delis served back in the day. It was also really good. Not much choice for chips or sides, but it served it’s purpose for us. Also, there’s no place to sit eat other than benches outside and it takes a while to get your food, but sitting outside watching the world go by is interesting.

Ordered a turkey sandwiches for our car ride back home and they were amazing! My only regret is not ordering them at the beginning of our vacation. Can’t wait to go back and have another. Service was great and quick.
