Papous Pita in Biddeford is unreal. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful Greek food, this place nails it every single time. The Mediterranean chicken rice bowl is honestly the best thing on earth. It’s perfectly prepared, packed with flavor, and always fresh. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and everything tastes homemade. Easily one of my favorite spots in town.

My husband and I stopped by Papous Pita for a Friday date night, and it was fantastic! The owner greeted us so warmly and even gave us extra sauces and drinks on the house. Our gyros (lamb & beef for me, chicken for him) were fresh, flavorful, and packed full. The fries with oregano and salt were perfect (they were a special on that night). Easily our favorite Greek spot in Biddeford; we’ll definitely be back!

Great lunch spot, stopped in on a whim and it did not disappoint! Owner was very nice and it was very clean inside with quick service. The pita wrap with the special lemon garlic chicken was so flavorful, the tzatziki was delicious and the grilled pita bread was so good. I would’ve taken a picture but I ate it too quickly! Will definitely be going back to try other menu options and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Came in late one evening from out of town with the family. The man behind the counter was so kind and generous and literally made us feel at home, even though it was getting close to closing. The food was very good as well- tomatoes were crisp and red, even though it was the end of the day. So glad we stumbled on this place, would come back again.

A quaint little spot. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxing. The owner and chef is so kind and welcoming. His food is fresh and delicious. Will definitely add this spot to our list of favorites places for a great meal! Very highly recommend!

food wasn’t bad, the quantity was generous but to charge 2.50 to add olives seems overpriced. i had a veg bowl with some hummus, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and rice for $15. there’s other places with more fair prices that don’t charge for different toppings in the area
