Stopped there for a lunch on my wife's birthday in the middle of the week. The place was not crowded and there were more than a few tables, by the window with nice views. We were kept waiting as hostess and two waitress were busy with a personal discussion. When they decided to actually wait on some one, they wanted us to seat close to the door near the bathrooms. We asked if we could sit by the window and we're told those tables were not available. The area at our assigned table was dark and a bit dirty. We got up and left. I looked back, I do not think they even noticed.

So this place was a great place to eat. They have some great options and pleasant food. I just wish they had more options for vegetarians and people on carb restricted diets. The staff and friendly and there is plenty of parking. Personally, next time i'm in the area i would choose somewhere different just to have more options but that being said it is a great place to eat if your eating a standard diet and can have regular food. All the meals are presented well and with some interesting ways to prepare food that you may have not ever had and it is worth checking out.Vegetarian options: Not enough vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Not enough options for people on carb restricted diets.

Beautiful. Great atmosphere. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was perfect. Best blueberry pie I have ever had. The views are stunning.

We've been going to Pier 77 for years. Summers in the area are very busy so we normally only go off season so this was the first trip in quite a few months. Quickly, we'll never go back. I was going to have a glass of wine (dining alone this trip) and found the wine list had been gutted. I made a choice from the minimal selection and was told they were out of what I wanted; and then proceeded to list multiple others they were out of. The server left so I could look at the menu. It was almost 10 minutes before they returned. When my order was delivered it wasn't the server, and they never came back while I was eating. The food was edible, but far from the standard of years past. Nothing was 'good'. I finished and after five minutes pushed my plate away and had to wait another five minutes to have the server come back. Food, less than average; service, poor; wine list, minimal with holes; view, excellent. My suggestion, come and walk around and head back to town for a nice meal. Tragic end to what was a nice place.

Don't go! ridiculously overpriced drinks and questionable food. a "double" hendricks gin which was essentially 1.5oz was $28. the usually excellent lobster rolls had bad meat in them to the point we didn't eat all of them. The property is for sale and they appear to be just extracting every last bit of money from unsuspecting patrons.are just

In shock. Single WORST dining experience we've had in years. Food was so bad we couldn't eat more than two bites. (tasteless and fishy old lobster, which is particularly impressive when it's located on the lobster dock) Server never asked us how it was even though they sat uneaten, and when I finally told them, the response was "okay, and walked away" Manager was even worse. Rude and could care less. Just walked away. $145 for two and we literally had to drive to another restaurant afterwards to eat. Read all the other reviews after and realized why she didn't react. She hears how awful that restaurant is every single day. Any good reviews must be from a decade ago.

Super accommodating in making a reservation a large party. Our waitress was delightful and the sunset was pretty. But if the food is terrible, nothing else really matters. Because the food was TERRIBLE. Also we were a party of 9. they brought out 1/2 the food and then it was another 10 minutes before more of the food came out and was STILL missing my husband’s meal which he then told them just the cancel after waiting another 5-7 minutes. Would literally never go back.

A great lunch! Beautiful views from inside. Lobster roll was delicious. Oysters are expensive but great! Fantastic crab melt sandwich and salmon tacos! Good place to have lunch!

While the food was excellent, the service was appalling. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The peach salad appeared to be made with canned peaches and the mussels were over cooked. The wait staff had to be asked to refill our water glasses and I had to get up to hunt someone down for our bill, yet the lunch crowd was not that big. One star for the view.

This restaurant has declined badly in the last few years. We went last night and it was hot and loud,e were told the AC had been broken for days but had not been informed during the reservation. As far as food goes the salad was tasteless and limp, on ordering wine we were told that most of the list was unavailable. The scallops with mashed potatoes were inedible and returned everything was poor and when dessert was offered we were told there was only one choice. This is a must miss, go to Mabel's, Joshua's Hurricane...anything but here!

This was a good restaurant with some nice dishes in an excellent location. It’s definitely pricey and could be a bit more sensible with that as it feels too high. Staff are helpful but overall it’s good - maybe if we came another time it could be better.

We are getting married in October 2022 in the area. The first thing our wedding planner told us to do was contact places in town to hold a rehearsal dinner. We selected a menu and booked with Pier 77 back in early February. The restaurant directed us towards a "Corporate Office" to book the event and assured us everything would be taken care of through this office. We were told this is how it had always been done and it worked. My future mother in law was in contact with (Yalcin) at "corporate" with the email address of "MIG Express." My fiance and I just finished assembling our invitations yesterday (which cost hundred of dollars to make and stamp, never mind the hours of our time). This morning we received a two line email from Yalcin beginning with: "For the last 8 years our restaurant has been year round, unfortunately we decided to close the restaurant this winter September 30 as we had a very slow summer and cannot keep it open for the slow winter months." The next sentence was another place we could try in town. We called Pier 77 to inquire about what might have happened and why this was just brought to our attention only 2 months before for an event of 75 people. We were met with rude and aggressive behavior not to mention absolutely 0 accountability or empathy. They just repeatedly said to "Call Corporate", they have no information and they can't help us. We never had Yalcin's direct phone number, but I called the number for MIG Express I found on their Google Business. Someone seeming to be Yalcin but claiming to be "Igor" got extreme defensive as soon as I mentioned I had a concern about a booking made through the company. He interrupted and yelled at me saying he could not help me and to contact the restaurant. This place is a SCAM. If they are treating business like this who knows how illegitimate the rest of their business practices are. I WOULD NOT TRUST A THING COMING OUT OF THAT KITCHEN!!
