Open table menu is not what they serve, I had a reservation for over a month coming from out of town and they had 2 appetizers 2 sandwiches and 2 dinners compared to online menu. So disappointing.

Very small menu. While very understaffed the team of 3 did the best they could. The review is more for Mgt. Just close if you can only offer a very very small selection on the menu.

Disappointed at the menu. 4 dinners choices and out of 1 of them despite a 6pm reservation. No one dining there. Won't go back

Terrible atmosphere Dirty windows Children of waitstaff running around unsupervised, yelling Will not go again

The view was breathtaking. The service was excellent. The food not so much. I ordered the fish and chips. The haddock was dry, overcooked and tasteless. To say I was quite disappointed is an understatement. Paying over $30 for this dish was not worth it.

Food was good and view was beautiful. Waiter was attentive. Large table with children behind our table noisy at first but then quieted down.

Great sunsets. Limited menu..very short on dessert choices. Food was average. Service poor...had to chase down waiter 3x. Pricey. Displeased with experience. Used to be fabulous.

We made a reservation for our anniversary. Stripers required a credit card for the reservation. When we walked in there were a total of 4 groups in the restaurant...and looking back, we could see why. We started with the calamari and we gagged and couldn't eat them. Worst we've had. I had a steak that was just horrible. No flavor. I asked for steak sauce and they said they couldn't find any. My wife had the Atlantic salmon and it was HORRIBLE. We will not be back. The only thing that was ok with the place was our server. Save yourself the headache and pick another place.

Stripers had a wonderful view, and that is why we chose it. But the food was surprisingly excellent. Two had salmon which was very tasty. One had the shrimp pasta which was enjoyed very much. One had the fish and chips which was a very generous portion, tasty and not greasy. The menu was the right size with enough choices. The server was so helpful and pleasant as was the hostess. I am very picky about my cosmos, and the bartender made it just right. It was a very good experience, and we would go back next time we are in the area.

What a great evening! We spent our first night in KBP at Stripers, and it was lovely! The servers were kind, and the food was delicious! We learned they have a great lawn with casual seating, and we returned a few nights later to drink wine and take in the sunset! Do not skip this restaurant the next time you are in KBP! A must for sure!! Oh, def ensure you request a table with a view and I do think a reservation is key!

We had a reservation, but We never actually ate so we can't comment on the food. It took the server more than 15 minutes to even approach our table and ask if we wanted a drink, when we then we asked for cocktail menus. We ordered drinks and waited again an inordinate amount of time for the server to come back. I had a question on the cod dish, what was included. I was told the sides were rice and corn when I said I didn't like either of those sides and what were my other options. She told me there really weren't any because they were sold out of everything due to the Fourth of July. It was obvious they lacked servers, and that They were ill prepared for the number of customers. It was just disappointing all the way around. we ended up leaving after our drinks.

Our first course & entrees were great (beet salad; salmon & filet). The strawberry shortcake was sub par, served w/an overcooked/hard biscuit. Our reservation was 645p- service was slow. Our waiter was overwhelmed- understandably so as he had an impossible number of tables. The restaurant was at full capacity including a buffet outside on the lawn & they were SERIOUSLY understaffed. The manager, hostess and bus boy were taking orders. Diners who came in after us fared far worse w/deplorably slow service. There was one bartender for the restaurant, patio & outdoor buffet. I spoke w/the manager who apologized. I noted that it was irresponsible to allow full capacity seating in the light of such inadequate staffing. I cannot recommend this restaurant the way it is currently being run. I hope they can get their act together as it's a great location.

We went to this restaurant a couple of years ago and everything was fine. Not so last night, however. The waiter was super slow - almost MIA the entire experience. And to top it all off, the food sucked. They complained about being short staffed, which may account for the waiter not paying attention to us, but the real problem is the kitchen. They need to fix their kitchen problem so that the food quality substantially improves. Too bad, as this is a nice venue on the river, making it a great place to watch the sun go down. An OK spot for drinks, but not for food. Sorry Stripers but you guys struck out last night!!

Good food. Small menu. Great service. Very loud. Customers were fine, but lots of hardscape, no wood, drapes or carpet/fabric to absorb or disperse the noise. Dreamy desserts. Nice night, just wish the menu was like the one we found on line, which was much more varied (menu last night was typical shrimp, cocktail, chowder, fried calamari.... Fish and chips, lobster roll, chicken sandwich, baked cod, sirloin steak. Desserts were the best. The wedge salad was good. The blueberries were a nice touch – unexpected and delicious.

I reserved a table for 2 on Sat June8 , confirmed the reservation via text as well. when we got to the restaurant a waiter informed me that there was a private party and the restaurant was closed to the public. I am not sure who is responsible on keeping Open table current as to when the restaurant is open or not- but that was a disgusting way to treat a new customer. It was disappointing arrival and would have never happened if I was properly informed. Shame on the restaurant.
