Very disappointing. I was there last year at this time and had a wonderful dinner and the atmosphere was great. This year the food and menu were just "okay"..... We were still eating our charcuterie when the waitress brought out our dinner. It was cold by the time we finished and had to have it boxed up. I am not sure if I will return any time soon.
We had a nice dinner at this restaurant. The pictures on the Internet are not accurate. They've cut all of the foliage down so if you're expecting that really cool vibe, it is no longer there. That being said, the bar was lovely. The service staff was nice and the food was good. Overall, a good meal.
The waiter did not get out order right. Ordered a beer salad ... Never showed up but was not charged. Ordered smash Burger and haddock sandwich with side salad ... First received haddock dinner and haddock sandwich ... An error. Then we received the smash burger ... Okay and a clam cake on a salad ... Writing but by the time it came we just took it ... long wait. It seemed as though the waiter was inexperienced
Enjoyed our dinner. Food and service were great. They worked with us to reschedule reservation from 5pm to 7pm which was very helpful.
This was our first time at the Burleigh. It was very disappointing. Our salmon and chicken were so dry we didn't finish them. The 'ambience' is tons of plastic plants! Draped everywhere. Not the classy atmosphere we expected in Kennebunkport. The server tried his best but was overwhelmed by covering the whole bar area by himself. On a positive note, the meatballs were great.
A beautiful outdoor seating if requested. Food was great, service was good! Prices what you expect in KBP. All around a nice evening!
Great food & friendly welcoming service on a quiet night. We opted to eat at the bar rather than in very quiet dining area. Food was excellent as were the drinks served with stories & smiles by Troy
Despite having reservations, we were seated in the breakfast area for hotel guests all by ourselves, and not in the main dining room. During our dinner, people came in to microwave food and it was awkward.
The quality of the service was outstanding. The host was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Our server was enthusiastic, thorough and knew how to read the table. The quality of the food was quite uneven which leads to this review. The wedge salad was highly rated by two members in my party. The fish & chips offering, with mushy, tasteless breading on the fish, was deemed substandard especially as measured against what other local Maine restaurants provide. The balance of the food consumed at our table was rated satisfactory but nothing special. There are dramatically better restaurants in the area when it comes to food quality although, from a service standpoint, this restaurant gets top marks.
Excellent service. Great food. Very nice meal. Best of our trip to Kennebunkport. Don't pass on desert. The blueberry cheesecake was a great finish to the meal.

My husband and I had the seafood stuffed haddock with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We loved our dining experience!
Service was slow. They only had 1 lobster left. The server failed to recognize my wife's birthday, but host did when we checked in.
Crab dip and chips was very good. Meatballs a little disappointing as the sauce was very greasy and not flavorful.
The Burleigh is always a great experience. We sat in the lovely, traditional dining room by the bar. Warm and cozy. Unfortunately, we were seated near a very loud group, who arrived after us. Too many people at too small a table. The bartender was excellent. It is a short menu. We all had something different, and everything was cooked to perfection. Bravo to the chef.
We were seated out on the patio on a perfect evening for a milestone bday. We started with the wedge salad which was good but the goat cheese crostini with roasted garlic was absolutely amazing. Our salmon entrees were nicely paired with quinoa and asparagus and perfectly cooked. Our dessert of flourless chocolate torte was a really outstanding way to end the meal. A great and memorable experience.
