My wife and I came here for the first time on Sunday night for a 745 reservation. This was by far the best dining experience we ha e ever had. Our server Kendall was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and attentative. The food was to die for. We started with beef carpaccio and a empanada trio. For our entree we enjoyed a 32oz cowboy steak with Mashed potato and creamed spinach. As well as amaitake mushrooms plate. if you have never tried Lost Fire, your missing out.
Great atmosphere, wonderful staff , and the food is the star ⭐️ great for a special occasion. Head chef Germán is a master of Argentinian cuisine
My husband and I went for his birthday and it was spectacular! Our waitress Amanda was superb and very courteous. She really knew the intricate flavors in different menu items! You could tell she loved her job which is refreshing these days. My husband loved his Tomahawk and I had the Lime Shrimp. All I can say is WOW! The food was phenomenal as well. I recommend without hesitation!
I have lived across the U.S and dined at a lot of highly rated restaurants. The Lost Fire is at the top of my list. We go frequently and have never had a bad experience. We always sit at the bar, and David and Ian provide a fun atmosphere while also delivering top notch attention. German’s menu is very unique, something you don’t see a lot of in Maine. I always get the burger (trust me) but my boyfriend always gets one of his top steaks or pork chops. Can’t say enough good things.
The "Long Short Ribs" entree was one of the best things I have ever eaten at a restaurant in my life!
This was our second time dining at The Lost Fire, both celebratory events, and the perfect place to celebrate. This time we sat at the chef’s table (first time at the bar) and the food and atmosphere were simply amazing, and service outstanding. We hope to be back, thank you.
Found a new southern Maine gem. Amazing Steak, some.of.the best I've ever had. Sides and deserts were Amazing. Good wine list, great service. We'll be dining here often.

Last night, I had an incredible experience at The Lost Fire! Right from the start, Steven, our host, warmly greeted my party, escorting us to the chef’s table—a great spot to immerse ourselves in the ambiance. The atmosphere was spot-on, cozy, and filled with the aroma of fresh food being prepared nearby.
The warm welcome continued with Tatiana, the manager, who made us feel right at home, adding to the overall experience with her genuine hospitality. Andy, our server, was truly outstanding. His professionalism, menu knowledge, and attentiveness made the night exceptional. He suggested some fantastic dishes and went above and beyond, especially when I mentioned I didn’t like the drink I initially ordered—he made sure I was happy with an alternative.
Everything about the evening was memorable, from the great atmosphere to the fantastic service. It’s safe to say I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend.

Very good food. Great ambience. Our server was not very tentative to our table. The manager had to clear our table and bring our check.

This was our first time at The Lost Fire and it was one of the best experiences for food, service and atmosphere. We sat at the bar and the service was fantastic. The service was great and the timing of the food was perfect. We both got the bone- in ribeyes and it melted in your mouth. The homemade bread pudding and espresso martinis were also commendable. Love the atmosphere and would highly recommend. We will make this one of our staple restaurants when coming to Maine.

What an excellent way to end the day. We walked in no reservations around 5-6pm, they were able to seat us right away. Staff was extremely friendly. We ordered the Australian Wagyu tomahawk steak. I made a request to see the marbling, which they had no problem displaying the steak for us. A little different than Japanese Wagyu, but still had an excellent presentation. The steak was cooked to perfection (rare). The added season salt was a great way to top of this meat that seemed to melt in your mouth. I normally use a steak knife with a heavy tang, but to my surprise, these French style steak knives cut the meat like butter. We started off with the Brussel sprouts (which I normally do not care for), but let me just say they were absolutely amazing!! Top off with what seemed to be a mayonnaise base sauce that was an excellent match. I wish I had gotten our waitresses' names. She was very attentive, our drinks were always full, very informative with the entire menu, and had a very positive vibe about her. To be honest, we weren't dressed to go to a nice steak house, we just drove in from Bar Harbor, basically jeans and a t-shirt. That didn't sway them from giving us excellent service. I would highly recommend this place if you want an excellent steak. Thank you to all the employees at Lost Fire that served us an excellent meal with excellent service
