My husband and I attended this year's Prelude at Ultramar on December 7, 2025. The building was inviting, clean, well-lit and offered plenty of parking. This event was a buffet style brunch ar 2:30pm. We were escorted to our seats on time and had a great server. The buffet offered many choices of proteins, sides, appetizers and desserts. The only reason this review isn't a 5 is that the carving station was unattended when we were plating and the meats were cold. All in all, everything was delicious! We hope to return soon!

Food is amazing. Jennifer is a great server. Efficient with a great sense of humor. We have been several times for dinner and this was our 3rd visit for the buffet. Absolutely amazing.

Beautiful renovations, and we have always loved the view from this dining room. We went for the Prelude Brunch over Christmas time, and the buffet and raw bar they put out was awesome! Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. We will have to come back for their regular menu.

Server was amazing. Food was incredible. Love the ambiance and decor. If im being picky the tables at the large half booths should be more oval/rectangular. Sitting on the sides you're very far from the table. Very picky comment, but just a thought I had. It was ana amazing experience. Amazing food. Flavors incredible.

The staff was disorganized. The host kept hovering around without smiling, and seeming to hustle the diners out. They served us our appetizer order twice, and we sent back the second one. However, our bill still had two orders of appetizer on it, and we pointed that out to them and corrected it as well.  then we were given the bill but never offered dessert. We asked if they had dessert and indeed they did and we ordered that as well.  the lamb shank was a bit salty but the dessert was fine.

We have been to this restaurant several times and we enjoyed it numerous times and last night did not disappoint. We sat at the bar for the first time and the service was great and the food was exceptional. I had the swordfish kebabs and my husband had the salmon and we both agreed that they were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Mussels and crab cake were great appetizers as well. We had a really great meal will be back!
UltraMar was highly recommended while we were visiting in the area. It did not disappoint. The cocktails were perfectly blended, The appetizers , entree and sides and dessert were excellent. We will return when in the area.

Was disappointed by this experience- came for a special occasion and the restaurant did not have a welcoming vibe (in particular the hostess), food was average and price was high. Recommend going elsewhere, especially if you have limited days and every dinner counts. Was disappointed we chose to have one of three dinners here on our trip- and service and comfortability was much better everywhere else.
