My company Hager Photography had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding here at The View this summer and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true New England wedding experience. The View is such a unique venue! It's a great space and with great scenery! You can't go wrong booking your wedding here.

My group & I came across this place on the water. Reservations needed. Beautiful space, friendly staff, calm environment & the most delicious butternut squash pasta I've ever tasted. (pork belly tacos are pictured as well) So glad we were able to try the fall menu items. I had spicy ginger beer for the first time and it didn't disappoint. Thank you for this experience! ---Brandi M. (Texas)

Wife and I sat down at bar which had a great view, she ordered a scallop roll and I ordered fried clams, both meals came out and they were both rolls which I didn't order a roll, but I let that go, start digging in and claims which there weren't many were totally overcooked, I didn't say anything but my wife did, now after I chowed on the fries I wasn't very hungry anymore and was really disappointed, bartender was more than welcome to give me more class but I was full after the fries, well they never took it off the tab which really disappointed me!! I will not b going back and I am a local

This was a great place to relax, eat and drink. The setting and the views are nice, and the ability to move over to the dock and have drinks there while you watch the sunset is a real bonus too.
I went with a group and we shared fried olives, nothing wrong with them, just not my thing. I don’t think frying them adds anything to the mix, maybe if they were stuffed that would make them more interesting?
Three of us got the tuna poke bowl and this dish was delicious. Fresh, plenty of tuna and flavorful. I would definitely get this dish again. The drinks were good although I can’t remember which one I ordered. They were shucking fresh oysters while we were there and next time I’m going to have a few of those too.

Food was phenomenal. We weren't able to grab a table, but they have a dock with a railing you are able to stand at for drinks and food. Would definitely consider this fine establishment again in the future

When we looked at the menu online we didn’t realize that almost everything is fried. I’m gluten intolerant and really only had about two options on the menu. My husband really enjoyed his meal, but I wasn’t really feeling an appetizer house salad with 4 shrimp ($30) for my anniversary dinner. It would be really easy to add some GF modifications to the menu for people with gluten sensitivity (more complicated for celiac), but that has to be a choice made by management. Great location, friendly staff, but not allergen friendly.

Dietary restrictions: NOT good for Gluten Free.

First time visiting. We didn't have a reservation, so we sat at the deck seating over the water! We loved it! Friendly waitress but not too attentive. Good food and excellent location.

After making a reservation on Thursday, for lunch for lunch today (Friday), when we arrived, they couldn’t find our reservation and offered us the bar or taking food out to the wharf
not what we traveled for 1+ hours for. We left and went to another lobster place up river and had a great lunch. When we got home, we received a text from Frisbees reminding us of our dinner reservations for dinner on Saturday. Wrong day and wrong time! Mistakes are made but we were made to feel like second cousins and they acted as they didn’t believe us. We won’t be going back, for sure!

Great food, service, atmosphere. Try the fish & chips. I'd stick with the fries over the onion rings. Friendly quick service.
