My absolute favorite place to eat in that neighborhood, and I have lots of places nearby that I love as well! The food is excellent. It's tiny, tho, so go early and be patient.

I stopped by on a quiet weekday afternoon between errands for a late lunch and was seated quickly. The shio ramen was so flavorful - I loved the spicy seasoning that was on top, it added the perfect amount of heat. As an after thought, I also tried the matcha cheesecake, but it was a lil crumbly and light in matcha flavor - I really had to search for the flavor. I hope this was a fluke but next time I'll forgo dessert and grab a cruller at Lil's next door.

Easily some of the best ramen in all of New England. The food was amazing.
I’ve had my fair share of spicy miso ramen, but nothing compares to the fiery goodness I devoured at Anju. This is even sober mind you (drunken ramen is always good). The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of heat and umami. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. Every bite was a symphony of textures and flavors. I believe I overheard a server explaining that they get such deep flavor in their food is because they have mastered miso fermentation and marinating their eggs. It was so good that I asked if they had a cookbook so that I could take some part of this restaurant back home with me. They sadly don't, but they should.
Please go here and enjoy a bowl of the spicy miso ramen in my honor.

The ramen was good however the server was mediocre. We waited 25 minutes for 2 bowls and when we inquired the server was nonchalant and did not even apologized. Won’t be back.
