Raj the owner personally served us and told us about his journey from humble beginnings to now one of the top 20 or so indian cuisines in the country. It doesn't take long to taste why. An unassuming restaurant on the outside to an amazing comfortable and authentic interior space to welcome anyone and everyone ready for the mos amazing dining experiences they will have. Even the drinks worth a sip.”

“We went with a group of 7, having made reservations in advance. The food was excellent and service very good. We were able to bring a cake from outside in for a birthday celebration which our server brought to us ready to serve and sing! The Hospitality was excellent along with our dinners. I highly recommend Robert's and we always make it a point to go there whenever we have the chance! My only negative comment is the safety of the staircase to upstairs, railings on both sides are needed, an elevator would be better.”

“I have been eating there for years. I went the other night because I was craving scallops. I got my usual scallops and tried to substitute o-rings for fries. The girl told me it wasn't allowed. No substitutions. I was willing to pay for the upgrade. No go. I live in the area and there are a lot of other options which I'll be trying.”

“We love their beer and staff. The space is welcoming. there's a baby changing table in the first bathroom no highchairs but they also only have snacks. Live music on the weekends But we also hosted our one year olds first birthday party here! We had about 40 people. Galen and Danielle (I did no catch the other bartenders name) were amazing and so so welcoming!! Definitely reach out if you want to host an event here! They have a huge parking lot, beer, cider, wine, and na options. 10/10”

“Went on Sunday. Was a bit nervous because of the varied reviews however, we are so glad we tried it. The iced tea was fresh and strong, my pancakes were big and fluffy loaded with blueberries. The staff was attentive but they do seem a little frazzled. The restaurant is clean and spacious and again the food was great.”

We walked around the corner, saw your place and said why not? Your staff was amazing and welcoming! The ribs and pulled pork, top notch! We enjoyed the staff, food and environment! “We had the Tuna/yellow rice/black beans with garlic cream, pork, yellow rice, black beans with the bbq and a side of sweet fries. Everything was delicious, the pork broke apart with just a plastic spork. Rice was well cooked and seasoned. Sheet fries were a great sharing size and delicious, not too heavy and well salted. We look forward to coming back.”

“Wow! Picked my daughter up from horse lessons behind this place. Little hole in the wall exploding with flavor. Fresh!! My daughter had the Chix Teriyaki bowl as she isn’t a big fish eater. I am. I’m also a professional poke bowl hunter when I live in Scottsdale, and visit San Diego. This place is amazing! My ahi tuna Hawaiian style burst with flavor with every scoop. The portion is filing and the staff was tremendous. My only issue is I live 45 mins away or I’d be here everyday!”

“This place got some very bad food reviews so even though a NE friend recommended it, I was apprehensive. Don't know what the complaints were about. Started with an order of mussels, perfectly fine. The lobster was good, give you an actual cracker to help u extract the meat. The service is partly self serve. The location is the big draw.”

“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.”

“Wonderful old-school, Old-Maine place - "Lobsters in the Rough" like we used to have. Ambience - totally relaxed, right on the water. Food - Menu has good variety, the lobsters come in daily, cooked just right. The view across the river to Portsmouth is like no other, plus the river traffic and bridge openings, lobster boats, big ships, tugs, you name it. River breezes tend to keep things a little cooler. I'll be back.”

“great location, great views but wasn't impressed with the food. I had a 3 ounce lobster roll for $20+, they wanted $55 for a 6 ounce.😱 there was more roll then lobster and the roll was over toasted. The Cole slaw was right out of a bag and blah. The only good part was the blueberry margarita, but I think I overheard the employee say it was only 5%. They didn't offer whole lobster.🫤 Go for the view, maybe order a burger or hot dog.”

“This restaurant is in a truck stop and it's some of the BEST food I've ever gotten at a truck stop.
I got baked ziti with chicken and I highly recommend it. The price isn't to bad considering it's in a truck stop. If you're a driver who's been driving all day and want a warm made to order meal this place is definitely worth a try!”
