“I have lived in NYC, Boston and Portsmouth surrounded by some of the best cuisines of every form. I have to say this is by far the best indian cuisine I have ever had. Raj the owner personally served us and told us about his journey from humble beginnings to now one of the top 20 or so indian cuisines in the country. It doesn't take long to taste why. An unassuming restaurant on the outside to an amazing comfortable and authentic interior space to welcome anyone and everyone ready for the mos amazing dining experiences they will have. Even the drinks worth a sip.”

“My husband and I just flew in from central Missouri for our anniversary. We stopped at a different restaurant and was not getting helped, so we left. We walked around the corner, saw your place and said why not? Your staff was amazing and welcoming! The ribs and pulled pork, top notch! We enjoyed the staff, food and environment! You got a wonderful place! I just can't say enough great things to say. You are more than welcome to share our experience! Thank you and your staff for the best hospitality!”

“We had the Tuna/yellow rice/black beans with garlic cream, pork, yellow rice, black beans with the bbq and a side of sweet fries. Everything was delicious, the pork broke apart with just a plastic spork. Rice was well cooked and seasoned. Sheet fries were a great sharing size and delicious, not too heavy and well salted. We look forward to coming back.”

“We love their beer and staff. The space is welcoming. there's a baby changing table in the first bathroom no highchairs but they also only have snacks. Live music on the weekends But we also hosted our one year olds first birthday party here! We had about 40 people. Galen and Danielle (I did no catch the other bartenders name) were amazing and so so welcoming!! Definitely reach out if you want to host an event here! They have a huge parking lot, beer, cider, wine, and na options. 10/10”

“I have been eating there for years. I went the other night because I was craving scallops. I got my usual scallops and tried to substitute o-rings for fries. The girl told me it wasn't allowed. No substitutions. I was willing to pay for the upgrade. No go. I live in the area and there are a lot of other options which I'll be trying.”

“Went on Sunday. Was a bit nervous because of the varied reviews however, we are so glad we tried it. The iced tea was fresh and strong, my pancakes were big and fluffy loaded with blueberries. The staff was attentive but they do seem a little frazzled. The restaurant is clean and spacious and again the food was great.”

“On vacation and stopped in to try the local ice cream. Husband and I ordered the 6 scoop banana split. This treat could feed an entire family. Huge portions. Definitely bring an empty stomach and friends and family to enjoy the yumminess.”

“Ohanna is hands-down one of the best poke bowl spots around. Everything tastes incredibly fresh — from the perfectly seasoned rice to the super flavorful tuna and salmon. The toppings are always crisp, the portions are generous, and the sauces? Next level.

The place is clean, fast, and the staff is super friendly every time I go in. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they serve. If you’re looking for a healthy, delicious meal that actually fills you up, Ohanna is the spot.

“Overlooking water in a rural setting. Only access is using a long, steep ramp. Not good for wheelchairs. All outside dining. BYOB or you will have to use a vending machine for sodas/water.”

“We visited over the weekend. Let’s just say… it’s my husbands favorite. I wish they would franchise off and come down to CT. Everything is amazing. We got a plain pizza. (We have a 5 yo) she had 3 pieces of it. We also got a children’s item for our youngest and it came with cucumber and fries. Very yummy. She enjoyed it. My husband and I shared two apps and they were the poutine fries and pretzels. We heated them back up at the hotel because we were so full. But they tasted just as amazing. The environment was nice! Clean and friendly staff. My dad drives 2.5 hours from CT every few months just to eat here. That’s saying something.”

“Wonderful old-school, Old-Maine place - "Lobsters in the Rough" like we used to have. Ambience - totally relaxed, right on the water. Food - Menu has good variety, the lobsters come in daily, cooked just right. The view across the river to Portsmouth is like no other, plus the river traffic and bridge openings, lobster boats, big ships, tugs, you name it. River breezes tend to keep things a little cooler. I'll be back.”

“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.”

“Absolutely wonderful. My only regret was not stopping in sooner on our 5 day trip as we are from away. Little to no Sugar Free options where we live so this place blew my mind. It eill be my new drink stop whenever I am in Maine.The Drinks were delicious and the staff was so friendly we even made a special trip out the morning we left just get drinks and say "Bye for now." Can't wait to return.”

“great location, great views but wasn't impressed with the food. I had a 3 ounce lobster roll for $20+, they wanted $55 for a 6 ounce.😱 there was more roll then lobster and the roll was over toasted. The Cole slaw was right out of a bag and blah. The only good part was the blueberry margarita, but I think I overheard the employee say it was only 5%. They didn't offer whole lobster.🫤 Go for the view, maybe order a burger or hot dog.”

“This restaurant is in a truck stop and it's some of the BEST food I've ever gotten at a truck stop.
I got baked ziti with chicken and I highly recommend it. The price isn't to bad considering it's in a truck stop. If you're a driver who's been driving all day and want a warm made to order meal this place is definitely worth a try!”
