“Our bartender Rick at The Leavitt Theater in Ogunquit recommended the Dram. Thanks Rick! Jeff and Marshall were incredible. Passionate and knowledgeable about mixology. Our drinks were great - we had many, but for me the most memorable thing is Jeff changed my mind about Vermouth. I have had many, the Leavitt makes a good one, but Jeff introduced me to one I could sip straight. Cocchi Storico from Italy. I LOVE it when a bartender opens a new avenue of exploration for me. This bar also has a great community and we enjoyed talking to the bar tenders and a variety of locals. What a great atmosphere. Dram, you are killing it. We'll be back Summer 2025!”

“My wife and I have eaten there several times over the past several years. Meals are always excellent and this time I got into the oysters which were great. Went the second day for lobster rolls. They were awful. Once I took my fork and pushed the meat down you couldn’t even see it in the roll. I have had great lobster rolls there in the past so I don’t know. I will be back for the raw bar but I recommend no one get a lobster roll. 65 dollars I wish I had back”

“I had the haddock sandwich with french fries and they were absolutely delicious. I’ve eaten there several times in the past and have never been disappointed with the food. The staff was friendly and very attentive, and we received our food promptly. I must say, however I don’t appreciate the preset minimum tip starting at 20%, that seems rather high for food served in a cardboard basket… The next time I go—- I’ll use the custom tip percentage and assign the appropriate amount…”

“Chauncey Creek is always excellent. Now that I live outside the US, I make sure to schedule my visits during the open season. The food (steamers and lobsters) was perfectly prepared and delicious. Even the sides (coleslaw, corn on the cob and onion rings) were amazing. The setting on Chauncey Creek, with a view toward Portsmouth Harbor really adds to to the ambience. And the stars are all super welcoming, efficient and friendly. This is our go-to destination for exceptional seafood in a classic, rustic setting.”

“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.”

This place is great. Beers are on point. One of the cleanest, Scottish style red ales I've ever had. IPAs were fantastic. Service was outstanding.

“I have been eating there for years. I went the other night because I was craving scallops. I got my usual scallops and tried to substitute o-rings for fries. The girl told me it wasn't allowed. No substitutions. I was willing to pay for the upgrade. No go. I live in the area and there are a lot of other options which I'll be trying.”

“Went on Sunday. Was a bit nervous because of the varied reviews however, we are so glad we tried it. The iced tea was fresh and strong, my pancakes were big and fluffy loaded with blueberries. The staff was attentive but they do seem a little frazzled. The restaurant is clean and spacious and again the food was great.”

“Absolutely wonderful. My only regret was not stopping in sooner on our 5 day trip as we are from away. Little to no Sugar Free options where we live so this place blew my mind. It eill be my new drink stop whenever I am in Maine.The Drinks were delicious and the staff was so friendly we even made a special trip out the morning we left just get drinks and say "Bye for now." Can't wait to return.”

“We came in tonight and there was a 20 minute wait to be seated of course we were willing to wait. We observed another family and woman very upset at the fact there was a slight wait for food. Everytime our waitress passed this woman she would make rude remarks and yell at our waitress derogatory things causing a scene and our waitress just kept ignoring her doing her job. I can't praise your staff enough for handling the situation as you did and walking away. By the end of our evening tonight I had a few words with this woman and told her what a disgusting human being she was talking to your staff like that. I just want to say sorry your staff has to handle such abuse when you're all so kind and such hard workers. thank you for being great.”
