“A nice find for an early lunch. I had #1 chicken and pesto sandwich and my friend ordered a breakfast sandwich. We enjoyed our sandwiches very much, mine had nice soft bread and was very tasty. The place is quite busy for a Saturday. Will definitely come back!“
“If you love good quality bread, plan a visit to this bakery/store. The featured loaf is Jingle Bread (raisins? Apples?) Order it ahead of time to be sure you can get it! It's often sold out by lunch time. My personal favorites are the plain sour dough (it makes THE BEST toast with Casco Bay sea salt butter)) and the Cranberry Orange Walnut. The olive oil selection is impressive, as are the many gifts available for purchase (honey, preserves, goat milk soap, etc.). The staff is super friendly and willing to make suggestions. There's a sample station featuring two types of bread (you can taste Jingle Bread) but don't be disappointed if the whole loaves are sold out! Want the best giant ginger snap on the planet (crunchy edges and bottom--chewy interior)? They sell them in the baked goods section alongside muffins and such.“
“I cannot say enough about how happy I was that Popovers was closed on Tuesday. My wife and I were originally intending on going there, and needed to find an alternative. We stumbled upon Elephantine. Wow! We walked into this charming little cafe and were transported to Paris. The products looked delicious, and we soon found out that they didn’t only look delicious. The young lady, who was serving us, was exceptionally friendly and added to our pleasure. We ordered a yogurt, with, as I can recall, a pistachio, brittle granola, sliced fruit, honey and so on. We also wanted to just try some of their bread in toast form so I asked if we could order something that wasn’t on the menu. We just ordered some sourdough bread and wanted to have it with butter and jelly. The server promptly made it happen. The food was delivered and all of it was prepared at a very high level. Everything was not only prepared well in terms of ingredients and quality of the food, but it was also cooked/displayed nicely. The medley of food, atmosphere, and music made for the nicest breakfast I have had in a long time. We would recommend this shining star to anyone! The Elephantine is top notch!“

“I stopped in here on a whim today looking for something sweet. The shop is beautiful and clean and the owner was so nice and kind. All of the items in the shop were reasonably priced, and there was quite a large selection. In addition to having standard cupcakes and Pastries, she had quite a selection Of both gluten-free and vegan options. I got four cupcakes and a muffin for $23 which I thought was very reasonable. The owner also gave me the wrong cupcake in my box, and instead of just swapping it out, she gave me an additional free cupcake, which was very kind of her. I ordered a salted caramel, smores, cookies and cream (v), and strawberry cupcake (v). The extra one she gave me was double chocolate. All of the cupcakes were great, the flavors were all well balanced without being too sweet. If you hadn't told me that two of the cupcakes were vegan I never would have known. The real star of the show was the banana streusel muffin I got. That might just have been the best muffin I've ever had in my entire life. It was almost like a banana monkey bread style muffin with a cinnamon roll glaze on top and I'm not kidding you I would drive 45 minutes back just to get another one of those muffins. “The cutest little coffee shop with the sweetest employees. I always have questions when I order coffee, and the gal working was so patient with me. My iced coffee was DELICIOUS. We tried the pistachio bread and the lemon poppyseed muffin, both were delectable. The shop is so cute and inviting I just wanted to sit and relax and avoid real life LOL. It’s a little out of my way, but well worth the visit.“
“From NC and ordered 4 loaves of bread, which are difficult fo find traditional quality breads here. These arrived quickly and were of the best quality I've had in years! Though packaged in plastic bags, the breads retained their crusty texture and the flavor was outstanding. If you are used to high quality breads with flavor, you'll love this shop.“

“We made it a summer adventure to try most of the ice cream shops in our area and Red Rover was next on the list. They had a short list of housemade flavors. Mint oreo was swell, and POG or passion fruit orange guava was quirky. A fun stop on our walk to the jazz band at Prescott Park.“

We had lunch - North Country Canadian Bacon, Turkey, Cabot Cheddar, Maple Mustard, Lemon Aioli & Lettuce on Borealis Bread, Wrap or Udi's GF Bread sandwich and my husband had a salad with fresh greens and fresh turkey and a balsamic dressing. All made in house. They even roast their own coffee and make their own tea blends. Their bakery items - scones and cookies looked amazing.We'll be back!“

“In area on business and needed a good cuppa joe and a sinker and decided to try Aroma Joe's for the first time. Had their house blend, which was great--not watered-down like Dunkin Donuts coffee. Sadly, all they had were chocolate glazed donuts onhand--not for me. Anyhow, friendly staff, drive-thru waitline not too bad and will get their coffee on roadtrips again!“

“My fiance and I visited the other day and just loved everything. First, they were great with accommodating my dairy allergy (french food uses a lot of dairy). I ate the Cassoulet. My fiance got the Coq au Vin and loved it. The meat fell off the bones and everything paired nicely with the bottle of wine we had.Our favorite thing was the cappuccino and chai lattes after dinner, though. They were amazing and we will be back!“
