Of the hundreds of ice cream/gelato/soft-serve establishments I have been to, this is in my top 10 and my 2nd favorite in the US. I went here 2 years ago and still remembered the name of the shop so yes, it left an impression. I gather from the more recent reviews that it's still top notch.

We made it a summer adventure to try most of the ice cream shops in our area and Red Rover was next on the list. They had a short list of housemade flavors. Mint oreo was swell, and POG or passion fruit orange guava was quirky. A fun stop on our walk to the jazz band at Prescott Park.
