“I just made a quick trip to Portsmouth today and as I’m driving back to MA I was trying the mint chocolate cookie and the Tonga and now I’m disappointed I didn’t buy more! It was so good! The staff who rang me up was also very very kind too! Super polite and friendly. I plan to come back again, hopefully soon!! :)“
“This place is a gem. I always wanted an authentic lobster roll from somewhere in New England and I finally got it. It was everything I wanted and more. Scallops and clams were terrific too. Will visit again when I'm back up this way. Thanks yall.“
“Amazing every time I go. The employees are always very kind and helpful. My most recent experience. My friend and I had a question about what butter candy was and he had explained it so clearly (about its origin and everything) and told us about how it used to be his favorite as a kid. I ended up getting it and it was such a great experience.Parking: The free parking is in a strange positions (very tight decently not for the faint of heart) and spaces are limited. The street parking isn’t too far away but can be limited depending on the time of year and time of day you go“
“Great place with nice atmosphere. My experiences with the staff have all been pleasant and the food I found hasn't been bad. Especially enjoy visiting and feeding the goat brothers carrots. Just watch your fingers... Goats may not have upper teeth but they can still nip! ?“
“Pretty consistent the whole summer all the way to our last visit. We ordered online to save time and the quality, service and overall experience never dipped. Even when it was busy my partner and I still walked away satisfied. I really enjoyed their seasonal flavors in addition to their mainstays. Hoping they'll bring back the caramel apple for next year. And for the price....you can't beat it. The sundaes are worth every penny.“
“Very good & many varieties of ice cream, but unfortunately, since we went only two days before it closed for the season, there was not much left. My husband‘s favorite pistachio ice cream was all out. So he had coffee ice cream & said it was very good but he felt no better than some others he’s tried. My mint chip was very good as well.“
“Great farm! Love that they have “festivals” every weekend from first harvest of the summer to last harvest of the fall. Excellent pies (cranberry apple was a hit on thanksgiving!) a great restaurant, pick your own (fruit of the season) is a great activity with kids. All-around wonderful place.“
“DELICIOUS!! Love the cheery bright shoppe and what's not to love about fresh churned ice cream and homemade cones! Everyone working there was efficient and pleasant and so proud of their products. The young lady who took our order was just beaming when she told us the cones were homemade. ? And for good reason... The cones are uniquely tasty with a touch of ??? secret ingredient.“
“Love this place! The majority of staff are all wonderful and I enjoy getting ice cream here. Unfortunately only 4 stars because one of the workers yelled at me when I went in and called my aunt many negative names due to the fact that I got taylor swift tickets and she didn't, but besides that I have no complaints! ❤️“
“Nice little spot to get morning coffee and a bite. Mostly kids working, but they keep the line moving and are very friendly.Got a "chi-chi" bagel, which was much spicier than I expected, and tasty. Next day I got a "townie" mixed platter that was delicious.Coffee is decent, and lots of varieties to choose from.Prices and portions very reasonable, and there is outdoor picnic benches as well as indoor seating.Definitely recommend if you are looking for quick service and not looking to spend a lot.“
“Absolutely amazing food. I had been told to try it out for awhile, and I was so glad I did. I'd love to try more of the items they have because it was so good. Definitely worth a stop and yes it can be pricey but the taste more than makes up for it.“
“Amazing!!!!!! The serving size is so big, I could barely finish it. Definitely worth your money. It also tasted so good, there are so many things to choose from on their menu you can't go wrong. The staff were very friendly and attentive and helped me decide what to get. It did not disappoint! A summer must have for sure!“
“Need improvement on phone ? skills. Other than that, the ? ice-cream tasted good ?! I had the Mint Explosion ?, my friend, she had the Dirty Water, coffee ☕ and chocolate (?), my son, his usual chocolate ? ice-cream. This was the best tasting mint ice-cream I think ? I have ever had. ? Swirls and large chunks of ? chocolate mixed in the mint. My friend liked her Dirty Water ? ? ice-cream.Indoor seating and candy ?? available. They share a parking ?️ lot with the Community Oven restaurant so parking can be tight.I recommend a visit!“
“Been coming here since I was a kid and it never disappoints. You can’t go wrong with a lobster roll and an ice cream. Order a kiddie unless you want an entire pint to yourself haha. And watch out for the bees and thieving seagulls who will definitely take your food! @TourGuideTara for more travel tips!“
“We made it a summer adventure to try most of the ice cream shops in our area and Red Rover was next on the list. They had a short list of housemade flavors. Mint oreo was swell, and POG or passion fruit orange guava was quirky. A fun stop on our walk to the jazz band at Prescott Park.“
