“Not your standard " meat & potatoes" menu. Small plates, different offerings daily, and a creative delicious menu crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Open 4pm to 9pm, no reservations. I recommend you arrive in the parking lot about 3:45pm. The dining room and bar seats are full in less than 10 minutes. However, particularly on a weekday (this place is open year round) if you arrive around 5 or 5:30 to 6pm or so, you should get seated within maybe 15 minutes or less. The owners bought the next door and after a try at a coffee/bakery, which was wonderful, they've added a full bar with
an appetizer menu. You can walk right thru to The Central now. Forget what new part is called (maybe The Bar Next Door lol). All in all I'd give it 5 stars (or is it 4? Whatever the top # is).

“This place is an absolute gem tucked away in York Village. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, and the staff was very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I got the salmon bacon salad and the chicken and gravy and were blown away by both of them. The ingredients are incredible and fresh, meaning that not only does the food taste good, it makes you feel good! They also are extremely accommodating of dietary restrictions and care a lot about the health and safety of their customers! Their homemade ice cream sandwich for dessert was the cherry on top. Will absolutely be coming back and can’t recommend this place enough.“

“WOW, NOT YOUR MOTHER’S TV DINNER!
As a child, I loved it when our Mother treated us all to a TV dinner. It was quick, easy and a complete meal.
But, this was not my Mother’s TV Dinner. We ordered our meals in advance and simply did a drive thru to pick them up at the WABI CAFE FOOD TRUCK to be eaten at home after heating them. (Directions included)
Mind you, this was a Gourmet Meal created by World Class Chef, Mike Fennelly who has reinvented his craft to adapt to current challenging events. He continues to serve up superior specialties in a Take Home Package complete with Dessert.
The ‘From Rome with Love’ theme did not miss it’s mark. Perfectly cooked and seasoned veggies and a hearty entree followed by absolutely the best ever Lemon Semolina Cake with fresh apple and raspberry confit and Maine Honey Creme Fraiche.
We added a side order of Antipasti Pizza which tasted exactly like I remember from my trip to Rome where I bought Pizza by the pound in Street Side Shoppes. A large Caesar salad with seared asparagus and Ricotta Salata and Romano cheese complemented everything and there was more than enough food for all.

Only thing I hope they will consider is to please please please provide at least any kind of bicycle parking rack. It would be much more accessible to me then. There are not even poles that I could lock my bike to so it’s hard to come if I can’t catch a ride with friends“

“Good food, great service, and a great view of Short Sands beach. ⛱️ I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich and the house red sangria. You can't go wrong sipping a yummy drink on a nice summer's day! The chicken was nice and tender, and I appreciated that the sandwich roll was not heavy and dense. Loved the sweet potato fries. I enjoyed my lunch in the outdoor seating area where I could sit back and see the beach and watch all the pedestrians going by. I've only been in the daytime but I intend to visit at night when they have entertainment and when I can try one of their creative libations.

Parking: The parking lot is small out back but there is extra parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is popular but we always seem to find a place to park.

Wheelchair accessibility: My husband uses a walker and it was very easy for him to get in and out of the restaurant. Everything is on one floor.“
