“My wife and I have eaten there several times over the past several years. Meals are always excellent and this time I got into the oysters which were great. Went the second day for lobster rolls. They were awful. Once I took my fork and pushed the meat down you couldn’t even see it in the roll. I have had great lobster rolls there in the past so I don’t know. I will be back for the raw bar but I recommend no one get a lobster roll. 65 dollars I wish I had back“

“Recently, we got married at the three chimneys inn. It was the Perfect day. From the time we toured and booked to the day of event and beyond, Kelsey, Romaine, and their staff worked hard and seamlessly to make our event run smoothly. Kelsey was the best wedding coordinator, responding patiently to our many questions and follow up emails. Both Kelsey and Romaine were very present and calming all weekend! They always had a smile on their faces and made sure we and our guests had everything we needed. As the night was underway, they broke down all our decor and neatly placed it for our pick up the next day. I can not recommend this venue enough for anyones wedding or other big event! It’s a beautiful setting, they work well with other vendors such as the photographer, bakery, or dj, and their staff and accommodations were very welcoming. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is definitely cozy and warm. The service was good and the food did not disappoint. They pride themselves in using local products and you can taste the difference.“

“I'd recommend this restaurant only if you are NOT allergic to shellfish. they cross contaminate their fried foods; waitresses words not mine. if I hadn't have asked if they cook mozzarella Stix in same oil as fried clams I'd be either very ill or worse, dead. so if you are allergic and you go out to eat, ask the server for confirmation that they don't use the same fry baskets/oil. our waitresses said no we don't but then checked with kitchen staff... come to find out they do. I refuse to die because of a mozzarella stick. on a good note my husband liked the burgers.....“

Atmosphere is sick, you can literally order a beer from the moon. If you're from ireland, you'll feel right at home. If you want to play pool, you'll feel right at home. If you wanna drink on the couch, you'll feel right at home.Didn't eat any food here, but judging from the sight and smell of the tables, I wish I had.What I'm telling you is, COME HERE!“

Set on the edge of Cocheco River on the backside of Dover, you might wonder at the variety of sea vessels moored below along the docks; marveling at their opportunity to reach the ocean from so far inland. An order of draft beer including a mix of IPA's will not empty your wallet before the evening arrives and the live music ends. The outside deck like atmosphere doesn't last when fall temperatures drop, but their is ample inside bar and table seating to suit your needs. “Was here for a reserved dinner buffet style for 22 people for my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner.The drinks were awesome. Well made and you could tell it was an experienced bartender.The main course and side dishes were top-notch notch delicious. Before I continue let me just say I am SUPER picky about food. There was chicken breast with a type of Cranberry stuffing that was amazing chicken was tender and moist and the stuffing was so delicious. There was Fish with a type of stuffing that was awesome fish was tender flaky and perfectly cooked. There was a steak tip dish but I did not try it however the rest of the party all said it was very delicious. The side dishes were mixed green salad, baby oven-roasted seasoned potatoes, and oven-roasted mixed vegetables broccoli cauliflower, etc. I had the salad and baby potatoes and both were fantastic. There was only one type of salad dressing it was a creamy balsamic and it was absolutely delicious only wish there were a couple of different choices and there were no croutons but these are just personal preferences.Now onto dessert...there was regular cheesecake chocolate cheesecake and apple streusel. The regular cheesecake was ok but the chocolate cheesecake was yucky and the apple streusel was horrible. I could not even eat it and my father who eats just about anything couldnt eat it either. Mind you I love everything apple and apple streusel is my favorite. I've had some not great apple streusel but this was the worst I've ever had.Our waitress was fantastic.The atmosphere was really nice.It was not extremely clean but I'm a clean freak so things bother me like dust on light shades and on window sills where I'm eating.

Parking: Parking was extremely difficult. We had to drive around again and again and again and again and again before we spotted a car pulling out of a parking spot and then it was like piranha fighting over the spot so at this point we were late for the dinner even though we arrived 20 mins early. Also if you don't know where the entrance to the restaurant is it will take a bit for you to find because it sits way off the road in the mill building and the sign is small and not easy to see from the street.“

the basement is always chaotic, at least during the schoolyear. it's basically a club. so if you like crowded clubs, definitely come here. one downside is that the toilets in the basement have no dividers, and people make small talk with you as you do your business ?“
