“I dont live in the area and it sucks i wont be coming back anytime soon. The food here was amazing. I found this place after searching a bunch of different restaurants in the area. What a find. Highly recommend. Seemed like a local favorite with the crowd and i can see why.“
“We stopped in on our way to the Portsmouth airport on a whim just to grab a bite to eat, and were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this wonderful restaurant. Excellent food. Even though it’s a seafood restaurant, I was really in the mood for some thing like a Cobb salad and they did not disappoint with their generous portions and wonderful layers of flavors. Will definitely be back.“
“Oh ALICE,She and her husband own this restaurant and it shows the love.Young is the bartender and they yell your name when you enter. You feel amazing and as you notice, others do too. The person touch happens fast here and the food is fantastic. I have about everything on the menu but we have our go to items now. Join the family and this super clean and inviting place ☺️Vegetarian options: I have loved the tofu dishes and they do what you ask with what you need. I have tamari instead of soy sauce. Very helpful.Parking: The location is hard to find for new people but once you find it, you're in! The parking is easy and lots of it.Wheelchair accessibility: I was in a wheelchair after a stroke and it's one level from entrance to table. There is a ramp to avoid the curb but cars aren't always thoughtful about that.“
“This is the first restaurant I've visited while being back in the US, and I wasn't disappointed. The fish in the sandwich was twice as big as the bun!Great people, great location, and great food.I think the only thing I would change would be to add some made in hause sauces for the food.Overall great experience.Parking: There is plenty of parking on site.“
“I am 58 years old and let me say that lobster roll I had there last week is one of the best things I have ever eaten in my entire life! The lobster melted in my mouth it was so tender, the bread it was on was absolutely perfect as well, I thought I died and went to heaven!? My husband had the shrimp and said it was the best he ever had. SERVICE..AWESOME!!! The guys working that day were super nice and helpful. I am from Oklahoma and wasn't sure to order the lobster roll or clams, I am glad I picked the lobster roll but geesh, the clam dinners looked amazing as well!!! We loved the atmosphere too! I will never forget my experience there and hopefully make it up that way again! Thank you for making such a positive impression and the best food on our 8 day New England Trip!! I would give 100 stars if I could!“
“Went here for the first time last weekend. Was very busy but, we showed up right in time and sat right down. Really good food. We had the Big Mac quesadilla, awesome! Mac and cheese with shaved steak. And my wife had a Caesar salad with steak tips. We loved everything. We'll go back. Looks like a great place to watch a game too.“
“Family Owned East Java eatery. Authentic Indonesian spiced menu and service with a smile. If you’re missing Java or Bali cooking this is what you have been looking for. Also small grocery off to side so you can pick up some local flavors to cook with at home.“
“THIS IS WHAT THE STEAK TIPS LOOK LIKE! Couldnt even wait till i got to my destinationto eat. Every single time I have ever been here, which is alot, it does not disappoint. Top 3 things I could live on for the rest of my life. Steak tips, jumbo lobster roll, butternut squash. Don't even think about it, just try it for yourself. Enjoy!“
“Dover IKKO Sushi & Japanese Steak House is a great and fun place for everyone, including the kids. The chef will put on a show sure to entertain all. The sake flows freely and good times are had. Sticking to the hibachi menu I went with the filet mignon and scallops. The chef will even throw in a few shrimp as well. Rice (with egg, etc.) and vegetables are cooked to perfection. More sake. Enjoy the onion volcano. Great for large parties. Very much recommended.“
“Was late night Friday and not many places were open but we knew they were till 12 midnight so we stopped in and got dinner. If remember correctly they had about 10 beers on tap including local brewers beers which was nice they also had speciality drinks as well after ordering drinks we ordered a Bacon burger,Buffalo fingers and mozzarella sticks. The burger was great and the appetizers came out in minutes and were awesome! The menu didn't have any desert listed but we asked and they said they had a strawberry shortcake desert with ice cream and a brownie desert as well so we happily ordered both and they came out looking delicious and were not small in size. Both were great! It was a cold late night so it was quite in there but it looks as if there's normally a band and there's a bar and tables out on the back deck which is directly on the river and there's boats docked all along the back of restaurants. Definitely a cool place to eat on a summer night. I've heard it's really busy in summer time and on weekends and I could see why. There's tons of tvs, and lottery to play while you wait!“
“This is a place I would drive for. I had the scallops and clam strips. They were cooked perfectly and plentiful. Make sure to bring your appetite, the portions are huge! My husband had the fish and chips and he had 6 filets of fish!! The blueberry cobbler is amazing!!It is a very casual atmosphere, so come as you are. They only do reservations for parties of 20 or more, but they have plenty of room. This is a fantastic place for seafood!!“
“Reasonably priced standard American food, good service, overall pleasant experience. I go here occasionally on Thursdays when the special is twin steamed lobsters for $30.99, which is a great value as well as a treat. Never had a service problem, and every server has been pleasant and accommodating. This is not fine dining but generally quick prepared food.“
“The Saturday to start February vacation, 2pm. Seated in under 10mins, served politely.Haddock Melt was 10/10. Hot, crispy outside, moist and flaky inside. Honestly this was probably the nicest tasting and best cooked piece of fish in 14 years of living in the USA.Fries were simple but options to season were available.Coleslaw was tasty.Broiled Salmon was good, but my wife stole more of my haddock once she had some, preferring it to the salmon..It’s got a bit of a tourist trap vibe, but past that, the food was hot and good. And the service decent.Price is up compared to other restaurants, but not bad for seafood and tourist area. I don’t know what it did to deserve a sub 3 average, but today’s visit was a chill 5 (would prefer to be giving 4.5 but that’s not an option).Dietary restrictions: Has a gluten sensitive menu!“
“My experience at the 99 restaurant was amazing. Our server, i believe her name was Abby, was phenomenal!!!! Very friendly and kind. the food was so quick too! Not too noisy and everyone seemed very friendly in the staff, overall a very good location and I would come here again if all servers were like Abby!“
“Stage House Inn & Dufour strikes a charming balance between tradition and modernity, and proved to be a gem in the local hospitality scene. Warm lighting and cozy décor invite patrons into a welcoming embrace. The bar’s ambiance, accentuated by an intricately patterned ceiling and elegant glassware, sets a sophisticated tone. Service is attentive, reflecting a commitment to customer satisfaction. Cocktails were crafted with a blend of classic and innovative techniques, offering a memorable experience. While the prices reflect the quality, the value is apparent. Highly recommended for those seeking a refined, yet comfortable evening out.“
