“We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary last evening at Via Sophia. We had wonderful meals, delicious Italian wine, dessert came back to the hotel with us so we could digest dinner a bit. Emily is a very attentive but unobtrusive waitress. She is knowledgeable about the menu and we enjoyed talking with her as plates were brought to or taken from the table. Her suggestions were spot on. And we enjoyed the modern yet intimate decor of the restaurant.“

“Extraordinary location. The furniture (chairs and tables) are perfect for the space. The table was set beautifully. The decor is perfect. The grounds are perfect. The parking was easy. Our greeting was so warm. Service was spot on. The wine selection was perfect and not overwhelming. Each dish was sublime. The pace of the evening was perfect. A minor complaint was the pix fix menu. So much amazing food. However, if that is what it takes to create the perfect dining experience, I can live with that the prix fix menu. Ocean has achieved perfection at a reasonable price. Alexa served us in an equally friendly and superbly efficient manner making every effort to help us secure a memorable evening. The food was wonderful including luscious pretzel sticks and salads with delicious grilled chicken and shrimp added. Server brought our beverages quickly and the food arrived piping hot and fresh. We were told it may be a long wait (slightly busy) but it was like 5-10 minutes tops.

The Food: Warm lobster roll with melted butter, sweet potato fries and a side of slaw and a cup of the most delicious lobster bisque!! We shared and it was the perfect amount. Clean plate award!! We weren’t overly starving so sharing was perfect. About $55 for our meal. While that may be pricey to some, I mean… it’s fresh caught lobster. And we shared and it was the perfect amount for our hunger level.

Overall, it was great. The food was top notch. If you’re looking for fine dining, this isn’t it. But, the food was awesome. I love supporting family owned businesses. Definitely would recommend.“

“we went to the diner for lunch we spent a hour and a half waiting for our lunch. Tables beside us and behind us some tables further away from us got there food before us. When our finally arrived my Mac and cheese was over cooked and slightly over burnt. My husband's food was alright . When he went to pay the bill the manager said the new system takes time we are not McDonald's. She also said are we in a hurry today. That's not the point. That's no way to treat a paying customer. We didn't get I'm sorry or anything off our bill for the new system screw ups. We will not be back for quite a while. The waitress seemed to ignore us. Your manager needs a attitude adjustment. Oh I had beef chow mein and that was great. Also had one of my girlfriends fried shrimp and that was delicious. I would recommend Happy Gragon for sure.“
