The quality of food, the care and attention in its presentation, the plate timing and swarming service at time of food delivery were all perfect. The porch filled up fast with tables but we were able to find Adirondack chairs on the lawn. Aggie the wine pairings were the only thing not perfect... Taste and preferences are all a subtle art form and a couple of subtle misses were experienced though the actual wine quality was excellent.“

“This was our first time here in 8 years since it changed from Maxwell’s to Pepper’s. Maxwell’s was a place we visited frequently when in Ogunquit, and we even had my 50th birthday there. We were very apprehensive about going to Pepper’s, and we did not know what to expect! Wow and cool were the first 2 words I thought of when we entered! The place we came to know and love changed, but it was a great change with an awesome bar! Then, we had some drinks, an appetizer, and then our food came. All of it was great, and all the servers and bartenders are wonderful! We definitely recommend the Firecracker Shrimp and Calamari for appetizers, and the whole belly clams and teriyaki tuna for main courses! Everything was fresh and delicious! We are looking forward to our next trip to Ogunquit, and Pepper’s will definitely be on our dining list!“

“We eat there on a Sunday night. There was a long line waiting at the one ordering window. After paying we found seats inside. They brought our food to the table. There were plenty of seats outside and a large parking lot. The food was good and some choices were expensive. Check out the website.“

“We had the best time here on an unexpected stop during a road trip. After driving all day from Vermont on a road trip back to FL we stopped in this little gem and before we even got into the doorway we were greeted enthusiastically by the owner Tony. The waiter Johanna and Tony guided us on how to order our very first lobster roll. We spent the evening laughing and joking around with them. We felt like we were hanging with close friends, which was just what we needed to end a long day. Thank you guys!“

When I got my wisdom teeth removed, this place basically ensured that I ate a filling meal. Personally, this restaurant is my comfort spot and I look forward to always coming here. I normally get the pho and the spring rolls, and I've ordered it enough that the staff is starting to remember my order 😅“

“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “Happy Dragon is our favorite Chinese food in the area. It took a number of different restaurants before we discovered it. My family from Florida (8 of us) ate there and EVERYONE loved it. Servings are large, prices are fair, and lower sodium. The item in my picture is a C6.“

“We had an 8 pm reservation, but it took a little time to clear the table from the previous diners (kids, some food on the floor), which was fine - we were with friends and enjoying conversation. We were seated at 8:15, and our server poured tap water. She said she'd be right back. It was ten minutes later when my wife mentioned to the hostess that we'd like to order cocktails. Five more minutes passed, and I asked another waiter to please have our server come to the table. Finally, twenty minutes after we were seated, our server took our entire order. We got our cocktails at 8:55, forty minutes after being seated. The food arrived at about 9:15. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious, so I'm giving the food five stars, but the service was poor, very slow. We've dined here probably forty times over the past fifteen years, and loved it every time - until last night. We recommended the place to our guests and they had not been before, so we were really disappointed at the service. Our server was perfectly cordial and friendly, but gave no explanation for the slow service. I hope it was just an off night, and our next visit will be back up to what we've come to expect over the years.“
