“My grandparents used to take me here when I was little and now I take my children here . The clam chowder is the best I’ve had in Maine and the portions are huge . Tonight I was so impressed with our waitress Makenzie J . She was so sweet and so attentive. Food is always absolutely delicious and service is always great !“

“We live on Cape Cod, but we travel up to Ogunquit area a few times each year and it’s never ever a trip until we get to Billy‘s chowder House. It’s awesome. Love the food, friendly atmosphere just a blast to be there not to mention the rum punch.“

“Food was fantastic, but beyond that the staff was PHENOMENAL! Our server (wish I had gotten her name) and the rest of the front of house staff not only all worked as a team, but seemed like they really enjoyed their jobs, which is HUGE! The owner/manager (not sure his exact title) was also right on top of things whether it be clearing tables or talking with their guests. Our first time here and we will be going back asap. Nice work to all! 👏 Oh and quick note, we live in Saco but had to go to Wells to pick up a package, it’s so hard to find places open on Mondays now a-days (I get it, so hard to be fully staffed and people need a break) and I was googling, ended up at a place down the road that as we were walking in were closing up early because of an illness….again, being in the industry I get it trust me! I happened to have asked the hostess for a recommendation of where else to try, and thank you for mentioning this place!“

“we went to the diner for lunch we spent a hour and a half waiting for our lunch. Tables beside us and behind us some tables further away from us got there food before us. When our finally arrived my Mac and cheese was over cooked and slightly over burnt. My husband's food was alright . When he went to pay the bill the manager said the new system takes time we are not McDonald's. She also said are we in a hurry today. That's not the point. That's no way to treat a paying customer. We didn't get I'm sorry or anything off our bill for the new system screw ups. We will not be back for quite a while. The waitress seemed to ignore us. Your manager needs a attitude adjustment. “This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. The food is delicious and the staff very accommodating.“
