“Very good. Wells Maine in winter means many closed restaurants. This bar and grille area s definitely a locals place. We started with an order of Wagyu sliders, that were very very good. They had bacon, melted cheese and mayo on them each and came with three in the order. Then we split the grilled chicken salad, which was a basic fresh mixed green salad with a few tomatoes, a few cucumber slices, some croutons, and very small amount of shredded cheese. Dressings tasted like they were out of a bottle, but they were good. We especially liked the waitress. No nonsense and great service. We could also see what seemed to be the manager, replenishing tables, cleaning up, and helping out wherever needed. Well, it wasn't exactly fine dining, we really did like the place. I believe their lobster roll would have been great, but we've already eaten enough lobster this week. I'd go back there.“
“There are quite a few " smart casual" dining options in Ogunquit and I cannot claim to have tried them all, but , of those I have sampled That Place stands out. It is a small town average floor plan that lends an air of intimacy to a roomy vibe. The service is highly trained and knowledgeable but without being pretentious. As for the menu, it is large enough for choice but simple enough to suggest specificity and care for each dish. Escargots seem to be out of favor these days but here they immediately caught my attention and did not disappoint! Neither did the generous and perfectly cooked pork chop. Utterly delicious! My Hendricks martini arrived with a slice of cucumber as garnish- a stroke of genius- and has since become my sine qua non ( if you can persuade the bar tender to supply the cucumber!) Go on spoil yourself!! You'll thank me afterwards.“
“Lovely Cafe in the Kennebunk area. Stopped by here for breakfast before heading back home to New Jersey. The atmosphere inside was just amazing. It was so comfortable, and there were lots of books and board games for the customers to enjoy. The staff was also incredibly polite and helpful. My family thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and visit.“
“Great place tucked away in town. Has an upstairs patio outside and indoor seating. Food is great and reasonably priced. Also, friendly service. Definitely recommend anything to eat here.Parking: Parking is a little small and off the main road behind the main buildings in town. Not too many spaces, but there is paid street parking as well. Great restaurant overall.“
“I love this place! As you’re walking along the street with all the shops it doesn’t look like anything special, but I wanted to go in and check it out anyway. I’m so glad we did. It’s like a little store with a deli, bakery and coffee shop plus other odds and ends. They make everything in their deli and bakery. Coffee options are also great. They have a small seating area where we sat to eat our lunch. The dessert options are amazing. I had the Greek salad and for dessert I got their homemade Blueberry bar with crumbles. The bar has a thick crust with the blueberries on top. It was amazing! My husband got their hot sandwich with Turkey, bacon and cheese. They had it in their grab n go section. It was also cool to see a wall of pictures with the owner and various Bush family members. Great history in those pics.“
“Had lunch overlooking the ocean. Beautiful scenery and delicious lunch. Had the lobster roll with a side salad. The lobster roll was overflowing with lobster meat and very little mayo. Our server was friendly and polite. Must place to eat when in the area.“
“We had a nice relaxed Breakfast here while staying at the hotel off-season. Jazz music in the background, nice waiter, good food. The view in the background makes it extra special. Would eat here again. (The entrance door open was on the south side, the other doors were locked.)“
“We had met some of the staff earlier in the day when we stopped for a quick drink after checking in to the Kennebunkport Inn. When we came back later that night we were greeted like friends and that meant a lot. The food was delicious, the service couldn't have been better and the ambiance was just what we were hoping for.“
“What a great spot! Cannot wait to check it out this summer and enjoy their outdoor space. We caught the tail end of their winter menu and I'm so glad we did! The jalapeno margarita was spot on.I also had the soup of the day, a mushroom cheddar, and the Italian grinder salad. Both exceptional. My husband had the burger and I was a bit jealous but was thankful to have a few bites.“
