“Dockside is one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph! I've shot many weddings there and I've loved every one of them. The staff is top notch, the grounds are beautiful, and view is unmatched, and during your reception you'll probably be visited by a nosy great blue heron. He's popped up at most of the weddings I've shot there. There are so many wedding venues in Southern Maine, you probably can't do any better than Dockside.“

“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.“

“My husband and I had the best experience tonight! The food was amazing. We started with the tuna appetizer and the cure wedge salad - so good! “I couldnt believe the outside of D Street (Daniel Street Tavern) today. It has an outside seating area (very clean and welcoming) as well as a NEW Food Menu. I couldnt believe how tasty the 1/4 pound lobster roll was (came with Coleslaw, pickle and small bag of chips) for $20. The alcohol free Bloody Mary was spicy/tasty and a good addition to the role. They have many deals on alcohol but also lots of non alcohol options (pop, juices and non alcoholic beer). Place is very clean and server VIVI is on her Game!!! So much more then a Dive Bar!!!!“

“I was planning to go to a different downtown restaurant and walked in to this one as it started raining. The waitress took every effort to ensure our dietary requirements were taken care of. They had quite a few veggie burger options. We picked The Cool Beans, which came with a black bean and corn patty. She was quite transparent with the fact that they used the same fryer and oil for frying meat,veggie appetizers and fries. So, she substituted fries with freshly sliced avocado. The burger itself was thick and juicy. We ordered a PB& Chocolate milkshake that capped out dinner. They went out of the way to limit cross contamination. Will definitely return.“

“We visited over the weekend. Let’s just say… it’s my husbands favorite. I wish they would franchise off and come down to CT. Everything is amazing. We got a plain pizza. (We have a 5 yo) she had 3 pieces of it. We also got a children’s item for our youngest and it came with cucumber and fries. Very yummy. She enjoyed it. My husband and I shared two apps and they were the poutine fries and pretzels. We heated them back up at the hotel because we were so full. But they tasted just as amazing. The environment was nice! Clean and friendly staff. My dad drives 2.5 hours from CT every few months just to eat here. That’s saying something.“

A gentleman at a convenience store told be about Brown' s when I asked where I could find the best seafood shack. Boy was he right on the money with this place!!! Wow!!

I wish I could remember her name to credit her, but I was greeted by the most polite and kind young lady who took my order. I asked a few questions and she wound up explaining to me that they had a platter where you could get four types of seafood which I ordered. It included haddock, shrimp, scallop and fried clam strips. The onion rings were great. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. . Everything was so fresh and I've never seen such big plump fried clam strips in my life. This was the best fried food experience of my life in all the years that I've been to New England, including sit down restaurants.

if you want great seafood and you're in the Perkins Cove area run, don't walk to this place and have the best seafood experience you can ask for with friendly efficient service. Home Run.“

“We had the best time here on an unexpected stop during a road trip. After driving all day from Vermont on a road trip back to FL we stopped in this little gem and before we even got into the doorway we were greeted enthusiastically by the owner Tony. The waiter Johanna and Tony guided us on how to order our very first lobster roll. We spent the evening laughing and joking around with them. We felt like we were hanging with close friends, which was just what we needed to end a long day. Thank you guys!“

“The Surf Point 360 is located on the property of the Anchorage By the Sea Motel. Beautiful view of the ocean. Nice menu and food service. We were there for lunch, and it is a nice setting, very relaxed. The service was good as was the food. My fish tacos were different from most as it was haddock and the greens on top were also different, almost delicate and offered a nice complement to the fish, very mild onion, a few sprigs of carrot and other greens I can't identify but added nicely. Very nice experience and very handy both to the ocean and to the motel. We were able to finish lunch and then take a walk on the walk called Marginal Way. Excellent way to have lunch and then take a stroll!“
