I always stop at the bakery when I am visiting Kittery. My first visit was in 2008 and I fell in love with the chocolate bread with strawberry jam. I know When Pigs Fly bread is sold in grocery stores, but its just not the same as getting it directly from the source.
They have a great vegan cheese pizza and our waiter was absolutely lovely!

When Pigs Fly Restaurant & Pizzeria offers excellent food along with a great draft beer selection. Their meatball pizza is a standout dish, and the spinach artichoke pizza is highly recommended. The crust is amazing, and all the pizzas are spectacular, often featuring a wood-fired char. There are also many food options for those not feeling pizza, and the sandwiches are wonderful, each with perfectly balanced spices. Don't miss out on the brownie sundae for dessert, which is described as out of this world. The restaurant can get busy, and parking may require some patience, but the tasty pizzas and unique dishes make it worth the visit. The service is terrific, adding to the overall great dining experience.
