The Burleigh Reviews
The food is average at best, lacks detail, flavor and correct seasoning
The staff and service was great. The restaurant was fairly empty with a nice ambiance the menu was limited, but offered a nice variety of options. Sadly, the food was just OK. The wedge salad is a standout.
Good service. Excellent beet salad. Halibut and stuffing was disappointing. Restaurant was too cold !

The Burleigh offers an excellent dining experience with beautifully plated, perfectly cooked meals, including the Statler Chicken and delicious lobster wontons. The restaurant boasts a lovely location with river views, a great wine list, and friendly, welcoming waitstaff. While parking can be a challenge, the staff is helpful and accommodating. The ambiance is unique, featuring decorative touches like tree limbs and artificial greenery, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. Guests often comment on the great food, with dishes served in a nice room that feels both intimate and relaxed. The flavors are well-balanced, with sauces that enhance the freshness of ingredients like salmon and halibut. Visitors have noted that service can sometimes be slow and inexperienced, leading to long waits and occasional order mistakes, but the staff generally remains friendly and helpful. Many guests enjoy the food and drinks, with some choosing to eat at the bar for a more relaxed experience. The menu includes favorites like the smash burger, haddock sandwich, and clam cake on a salad, all served with good portions. Desserts, such as blueberry cheesecake, are highly recommended as a perfect way to finish the meal. Overall, The Burleigh provides a memorable experience with great food, a nice setting, and a fine selection of drinks.
