Tucked away right next to the pool, this spot was exactly what I needed—a laid-back escape from the downtown hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport. I was initially confused about how to get in (thought I was lost for a second!), but once I found it, I knew I’d discovered something special.

Plenty of shady spots to lounge, a great indoor-outdoor vibe, and seriously relaxing poolside energy. A lot of games for kids. The menu hits all the right notes—classic food and drink options that are comforting and satisfying.

The real highlight? Kayla, the bartender. She was an absolute joy! Super friendly, attentive, and full of great local recs. Her service was top-notch, and she made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. We chatted, laughed, and I left already looking forward to coming back.

“The best ice cream we had in Kennebunkport! I received a BOGO free coupon from my visit at The Clam Shack for here so we had to check it out. I had the Moose Track and it was the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. I loved the mini peanut butter cups that were mixed in.“

“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “Always the best food and customer service in town. We have been going to 50 local for years, it continues to be a family favorite. Have to share because it made such a hard evening just a little easier. A few weeks ago we lost our dog Scout very tragically. I called in an order to go and whn I went in to pick it up the hostess immediately knew something was wrong. She asked if I was alright and I instantly broke down.. I told her what had just happened. She then proceeded to give me two desserts, gave me a big hug and, told me they were on the house. It wasn’t about the desserts (they were fantastic as always) it was more the kindness, support and, sympathy that she showed us that evening. “My wife and I stayed in Kennebunk for a couple days this week and our first stop was The Pilot House. Elliot was upstairs on the ship and he was awesome, he gave us great recommendations for food in the area, and pointed us at the best things to try. 10/10 would recommend the Clam Chowder, and hands down this place is the best view in Kennebunk. Maybe take a light jacket for the wind up on the ship, but it’s an amazing view unmatched by anything else in the area. Lastly, parking in general in Kennebunk is difficult/expensive, The Pilot House has their own parking lot with great availability in our experience and is free for patrons of their restaurant/tours.“

“After a friendly greeting at the door, we were seated at the bar, awaiting access to the piano bar. The place was crowded, but not overly, just enough to create a relaxed but exciting vibe. The menus is adequate and we didn't have to wait long after ordering to enjoy the delicious food.

The piano bar section was a totally different experience! The excitement and participation of the patrons created a pulsing, harmonious heartbeat of music and it was wonderful! Everybody gathered around the piano to sing with and support the excellent piano players. Can they create an atmosphere! The 2 I've joined were Jason Weber and Michelle Currie, and each had their own brilliant flair. A waiter kept or glasses full with the wife variety of options we could choose from. I didn't even realize I was sitting at the piano for over 6 hours when it became time to leave.

Everyone deserves this experience - where you are filled with joy and contentment when you leave.“

“This was our first time here in 8 years since it changed from Maxwell’s to Pepper’s. Maxwell’s was a place we visited frequently when in Ogunquit, and we even had my 50th birthday there. We were very apprehensive about going to Pepper’s, and we did not know what to expect! Wow and cool were the first 2 words I thought of when we entered! The place we came to know and love changed, but it was a great change with an awesome bar! Then, we had some drinks, an appetizer, and then our food came. All of it was great, and all the servers and bartenders are wonderful! We definitely recommend the Firecracker Shrimp and Calamari for appetizers, and the whole belly clams and teriyaki tuna for main courses! Everything was fresh and delicious! We are looking forward to our next trip to Ogunquit, and Pepper’s will definitely be on our dining list!“

I have to share this little story with you ,a dismal start to our vacation week, A normal 3 hour drive turned into a five hour one,then I had issues with my oxygen machine,which turned into waiting for a servicemen to come from two hours away.So we are looking at 9 o’clock at night before he would come, now we haven’t eaten since morning and now it’s past 7:30. We knew since Covid hit most eateries are open limited hours, we called Stutesy’s Pub & Grill they said come on down even though they were already shutting down for 8 o’clock. That they will take care of us,not only was Stacie a gracious host her husband cooked us a wonderful meal and even made two more meals to go for our two sons,who were coming laterThey won over our hearts and our taste buds so you’ve got to give Stutesy’s a try for sure!!“

They ate the burgers and fries with no talking which means it had to be good. I had the tacos with fish which were amazing. My husband had the fish and chips. Huge portion but overcooked.
