“Stopped here for lunch and surprised with the food being so amazing that this place was not packed.

Had the California burrito with short rib and mind blowing good. Small cute restaurant who will be moving across the street in a couple of months.

Definitely a must try and for me a definite return“

“Family trip visiting Maine from the mid-Atlantic and not sure how we would be received. We were treated like royalty! Super surprised when Mr. Rob picked up our tab. Waitress was friendliest ever and attentive to our needs. Food was plentiful and amazingly tasteful. Restaurant is situated next to the post office so follow the PO signs.“

“Cute little place in Maine not far from NH. Beautiful pastries, quick service. Got 1/2 dozen donuts, slice of lemon cake (not pictured) and a big piece of soft bread with a nice drizzle. A little over $40 but definitely still needed to tip the helpful people at the counter. Not a lot of flavor with the bread but it was soft, the cake on the other hand was full blown lemon perfection. The fruits and lemon toppings on the donuts are delicious. Haven’t tried the S’mores (it’s for the kids) but just look at it!
Presentation is a 10. Going back to try the pizza for sure and whatever else I missed.“

“We’ve gone here twice now. Both times we got the lobster roll with chowder. First time the chowder was perfect! Plenty of potatoes & clams. Second time, not so great. It was basically just the creamy broth without almost ANY potatoes or clams at all, that was a bummer. The lobster was perfect the first time, perfect amount of butter & was very tasty (you can also get it cold with mayo). The second time it lacked butter & was on the dryer side. I guess it’s a hit or miss? Hey, we all have bad days. We will definitely try it again. We hope the next time we go it is better than the last time, just hoping it was an off day. They are always packed! Most of time we see the line is out the door, it does move fairly quickly though. That was nice. The ice cream & the portions were wonderful. We were not impressed with the shakes. We ordered two “very thick three scoop”shakes but the size seemed more like a maybe a medium sized drink I’d say, & it wasn’t at all thick, not at all. It was disappointing, we won’t be getting those again. But definitely will get their ice cream! Would love to grab one of their ice cream pies next time, when we were in line an older couple said they were delicious. Oh, I almost forgot! The chili cheese fries (with melted cheese) were amazing! The chili is pretty much perfect, I will be trying the chili dog at some point. I’ll update on our return, hopefully earning that fifth star for the food ;)
All & all it is an affordable place with plenty of options & you should give it a try. You’ll never find a better deal for a lobster roll with chowder or fries or both!“

“We recently had our wedding at the Inn and it was absolutely perfect from the ceremony, accommodations, cocktail hour on the patio, and inside reception space. Kelsey the coordinator was very helpful with the flow of the day and helping us at rehearsal. We gave the inn many tubs of decorations and the staff out together our dream wedding. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding.“

“Overall, a nice dining experience! My only notes are that the pappardelle for the bolognese was overcooked and oddly shaped. I understand its homemade, but the presentation of it looked sloppy and unappetizing. Uneven, and wonky cuts made it look messy. Was over cooked as well so a bit mushy.

Sophie was great and attentive without hovering.

“Went on Thursday to meet a friend for a late lunch, I’ve been by the place but never inside. Needless to say I ordered a pizza and its hands down the best pizza i have had as long as I can remember! As we walked out we chatted about this place and now have a great spot to meet for food laughs and to talk about our work. He mentioned he saw a guy a couple of tables down get what looked like an awesome burger so i stopped by today and ordered it and it was just that, awesome!“

This guy came walking over to me and my friends table told us we cant order at the table because he only wanted us to order our food and drinks at the bar he was wearing sleep short red tshirt and look like he just got out of bed face was very scruffy. We got no drink specials I asked for a greatful dead watched him make it was made very poorly he kept asking my friend over and over what she wanted and didn't know what she wanted she was try to talk because we never been there so we didn't know any drink specials so he kept cutting her off shoves a menu at us we ordered and went back where we wanted to sit. I watched and noticed how customers were going behind the bar putting bottles in the bin the guy left the bar unattended twice. The place ok it was just dark and sad. the basement is always chaotic, at least during the schoolyear. it's basically a club. so if you like crowded clubs, definitely come here. one downside is that the toilets in the basement have no dividers, and people make small talk with you as you do your business ?“
