“Family trip visiting Maine from the mid-Atlantic and not sure how we would be received. We were treated like royalty! Super surprised when Mr. Rob picked up our tab. Waitress was friendliest ever and attentive to our needs. Food was plentiful and amazingly tasteful. Restaurant is situated next to the post office so follow the PO signs.“

“Cute little place in Maine not far from NH. Beautiful pastries, quick service. Got 1/2 dozen donuts, slice of lemon cake (not pictured) and a big piece of soft bread with a nice drizzle. A little over $40 but definitely still needed to tip the helpful people at the counter. Not a lot of flavor with the bread but it was soft, the cake on the other hand was full blown lemon perfection. The fruits and lemon toppings on the donuts are delicious. Haven’t tried the S’mores (it’s for the kids) but just look at it!
Presentation is a 10. Going back to try the pizza for sure and whatever else I missed.“

“We had a wonderful time at the Granite Steak & Grill!! My husband and I went for dinner around 7 pm and LOVED the seafood stuffed mushrooms, and of course our entrees were delicious as well. My husband got the surf and turf with steak tips and crab cakes (yum!!) and I got the beef and reef (lol) with prime rib and baked scallops. For my sides I got the vegetable of the day which was a little disappointing because it definitely tasted like frozen from the bag and heated up in the microwave but I also got the French onion soup which was delicious! My husband got mashed potatoes and cole slaw with his which were both great. Unfortunately we were both stuffed so we didn’t get dessert but I did get a chocolate raspberry martini which was delicious!! Our server Leah (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was so sweet and we were very impressed by the pacing of our appetizer and meal arriving. And all of that food plus two cocktails for $136 was mind boggling! If we ever are back in the area we will be back for sure!!!“

“I came in tonight for the second time to Revolution for dinner after a very eventful day. I was hungry and I loved my first experience here, so I was looking forward to coming back.

The second time was different. No questions the vibe, and the food was excellent once again. (Thank you to the Chefs) But the service was honestly confusing to me.

The front staff mixed things up. I walked in, and we asked for a table for 4. We were told no problem, and then about 45 seconds later, as if we wernt standing right there they asked us if we needed a table again. This was not an overly busy early Saturday night.

For some reason both a waiter and waitress waited on our table and were visibly confused about our orders at first. And we were confused at who was running the table. We were also inconveniently seated right behind the entrance.

Both the waiter and waitress were wonderful, professional, and handled themselves well, and we appreciated them. The food was excellent once again (see photos), and the specials were indeed completely different than the first time I was there. To the Head Chef and Kitchen: really knockout job. I’m coming back again because of you.

“We recently had our wedding at the Inn and it was absolutely perfect from the ceremony, accommodations, cocktail hour on the patio, and inside reception space. Kelsey the coordinator was very helpful with the flow of the day and helping us at rehearsal. We gave the inn many tubs of decorations and the staff out together our dream wedding. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding.“

“Went on Thursday to meet a friend for a late lunch, I’ve been by the place but never inside. Needless to say I ordered a pizza and its hands down the best pizza i have had as long as I can remember! As we walked out we chatted about this place and now have a great spot to meet for food laughs and to talk about our work. He mentioned he saw a guy a couple of tables down get what looked like an awesome burger so i stopped by today and ordered it and it was just that, awesome!“

This guy came walking over to me and my friends table told us we cant order at the table because he only wanted us to order our food and drinks at the bar he was wearing sleep short red tshirt and look like he just got out of bed face was very scruffy. We got no drink specials I asked for a greatful dead watched him make it was made very poorly he kept asking my friend over and over what she wanted and didn't know what she wanted she was try to talk because we never been there so we didn't know any drink specials so he kept cutting her off shoves a menu at us we ordered and went back where we wanted to sit. I watched and noticed how customers were going behind the bar putting bottles in the bin the guy left the bar unattended twice. The place ok it was just dark and sad. “I ordered a loaded cheesesteak with garlic parm tater tots to go while I was at a Sunday afternoon bluegrass show. Food was great in spite of being a to go order. Very nicely done! The sandwich was seasoned perfectly with a perfect amount of gooey American cheese. Tots were crispy and nicely seasoned also. I had a nice chat with the bartender (Jess I think) for a little while. Very pleasant experience overall. Great spot for a Sunday hang!“

the basement is always chaotic, at least during the schoolyear. it's basically a club. so if you like crowded clubs, definitely come here. one downside is that the toilets in the basement have no dividers, and people make small talk with you as you do your business ?“
