“Seafood was really good, we had seafood combo with baked potato and salad. Amazing!! One chicken finger dinner, also amazing, lightly fried not greasy, very delicious. Also one of our party had the fried haddock sandwich with fries he was extremely happy with his meal. Last person had the terriyaki chicken wings and she was delighted with those as well. Waitress was extremely nice and pleasant. Will definitely be back.“
“Very good. Wells Maine in winter means many closed restaurants. This bar and grille area s definitely a locals place. We started with an order of Wagyu sliders, that were very very good. They had bacon, melted cheese and mayo on them each and came with three in the order. Then we split the grilled chicken salad, which was a basic fresh mixed green salad with a few tomatoes, a few cucumber slices, some croutons, and very small amount of shredded cheese. Dressings tasted like they were out of a bottle, but they were good. We especially liked the waitress. No nonsense and great service. We could also see what seemed to be the manager, replenishing tables, cleaning up, and helping out wherever needed. Well, it wasn't exactly fine dining, we really did like the place. I believe their lobster roll would have been great, but we've already eaten enough lobster this week. I'd go back there.“
“We are staying in the area and every one we asked said this is the place to try I'll tell you it did not disappoint great atmosphere Lively, our waitress was quick friendly and on top of everything, coconut shrimp appetizer was perfect our drinks came quickly, I got the surf and turf broiled haddock and steak usually for a smaller piece of steak restaurants overcook them this was cooked a perfect medium with a very decent size baked haddock food was just delicious, real French fries. Eat until I just couldn't anymore.“
“I recently visited Batson River restaurant for the first time, and it was an absolute delight. Arriving a few minutes after opening on a Saturday, we were promptly seated amidst the festive and incredibly fun Christmas decor, setting the perfect mood for the season. The decorations alone made the visit worthwhile. The food matched the festive atmosphere. I had the mussels and smoked haddock chowder, both had a rich and flavorful taste. The "Zero Proof" mocktail and non-alcoholic beer selection were a pleasant surprise, providing excellent alternatives. Our waitress, Nicole, was not only attentive but also exceptionally kind, adding to the overall positive experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit!“
“Stopped by after seeing the sign for soup. The beef and barley soup was awesome and the rolls were amazing. The salad bar had great options and Sherri our waitress was very nice and attentive. The lite bits options were perfect size for us after eating our weight in soup and salad. Def a place I will be adding to my stops list when we are in Maine“
“The overall experience was exceptional. Great food, great service, every detail was thought of. From the time we drove up to the entrance to the time we received our coast when leaving we were treated like royalty. Highly recommend for special occasions you will not be disappointed.“
“Really enjoyed my experience at Bandaloop. The food was fantastic I had the carrot soup and wilted spinach salad as well as the Kailua fudge brownie for dessert. They were somewhat busy when I arrived and seemed to be serving a lot of tables, even midweek. So I would say to expect that and possibly make a reservation. Overall a good experience and nice atmosphere.“
“Great place for a fancy night out! The duck was very good and falling off the bone (one piece was a little drier than the other) and the rice with the sauce was definitely top notch. I would highly recommend the brioche donuts for dessert. I still crave more of the donuts “
“We had a reservation at 2:30 during the first weekend of the prelude 2023. We got seated right away. We ordered drinks, truffle fingerlings, crispy brussel spouts, chicken meatballs, and a caesar salad. It was split between 3 of us. The food was delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Our waiter was great and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back.“
“This is a beautiful, comfy restaurant in a rural setting (nature preserve) and the ambiance greatly contributed to the dining experience. The service was excellent and the food was first rate! Treat yourself to a wonderful evening!Parking: Free valet“
“There are quite a few " smart casual" dining options in Ogunquit and I cannot claim to have tried them all, but , of those I have sampled That Place stands out. It is a small town average floor plan that lends an air of intimacy to a roomy vibe. The service is highly trained and knowledgeable but without being pretentious. As for the menu, it is large enough for choice but simple enough to suggest specificity and care for each dish. Escargots seem to be out of favor these days but here they immediately caught my attention and did not disappoint! Neither did the generous and perfectly cooked pork chop. Utterly delicious! My Hendricks martini arrived with a slice of cucumber as garnish- a stroke of genius- and has since become my sine qua non ( if you can persuade the bar tender to supply the cucumber!) Go on spoil yourself!! You'll thank me afterwards.“
“Our food was great as chef perfectly accommodated my request for light garlic in the shrimp scampi. My wife loved her stuffed haddock. These were part of the Sunday special: good sized entree and blueberry pie for $18 which is cheap for just the entree alone. Nice decor and our server Shannon was fantastic. We'll be back!“
“The Village Tavern is one of the best restaurants in the Kennebunk area. The food is delicious. The lamb dish is extraordinary. The wait staff is friendly and professional. It has plentiful seating both inside and out and a bar area as well. Whenever we want a cozy, intimate dinner, we always head to the Village Tavern.. You can always look forward to a great meal and a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend going to the Village Tavern. You will not be displeased. Ken Kennebunk, ME“
“Wow. We came about 6 months after Wandby Landing opened and the food and service was very good but can say a little over a year later, bam, they have upped their game with new menu items, the flavors on all of the dishes we tried were truly fantastic! This is an A+ in our book for southern/central coast Maine The wine selection was also pretty good, we got a nice bottle from one of our favorites in Williamette Valley and the mark-up was reasonable for the quality of the product. Overall, if you are anywhere need Kennebunkport, you NEED to make this a stop!!“
“Listen, I'm a corned beef Hash in a can type of girl. Many times I've had "home-made" CBH in a restaurant and been disappointed. I made the decision to try the home-made CBH at Rick's... and it was magical. The corned beef was just the right toughness and the potatoes and peppers were cooked perfectly. The staff here were so happy and upbeat even on a cold Maine day in March. Thank you all for a great experience, I will definitely be back!“
“Quaint little breakfast place, food was great, service was great. It was packed full but still plenty of walking room around tables. Their hash was different. We couldn't tell exactly what was different but different than any other hash I've had (and I order it every where).“
“Hubby and I tried for thr first time and it was fantastic! The food was heaven. We ordered seafood chowder, the buratta and prosciutto plate, and a fried fish sandwich with broccoli salad, and bloody marys. Everything was fresh and delicious and the drinks were crafted perfectly. This visit did not disappoint!!! Our server was kind, friendly, attentive, understanding, knowledgeable. One of the best servers I've had. The atmosphere was clean and romantic and cozy. We loved it, thank you!!!Parking: They have a small lot on the side of the restaurant“
“Hands down the best restaurant in the Ogunquit, York Cape Neddick, York area. I have had the Seafood Scampi and the Chicken Piccata. Both were completely delicious. Reasonable proces. The side salad is unbelievable. Homemade pasta. The chef is truly a chef. Huge portions. Highly recommend“
“The food was delicious. Despite being shorthanded the night of our visit, this restaurant delivered what they promised. Pizza was five-star, fresh fish prepared perfectly, meat balls and sauce like Mama used to make. A refreshing dining experience in Ogunquit. Honest and attentive service. We will be back to this place. Go and give it a try. Share a bottle of wine and some really good, fresh food.“
“We got the crab omelette (~$23) and a breakfast burrito . Highly recommend. Decent prices, and very filling. There was lots of crab meat in the omelette so very worth it. Service is a bit on the slow side because they only have 1 cook in the kitchen, but I didn't mind the wait because the food was so good.“
“We came here for an evening and had some drinks with Brittany, had great service and convo, came back for breakfast and had an absolutely AMAZING breakfast with again great service and I dare say one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! Highly recommend, if I could give this place 10 stars I would!“
“Pretty good food, reasonably priced. It's ALWAYS BUSY, which shows the overall quality, but also affects service times. Coffee was good. No kids menu and no real "daily specials", which I feel is pretty much standard for diners. Solid choice (if you can find a parking spot).“
“First time visiting Duffy's after passing it many times over the years. Being a Sunday afternoon in the middle of January it was a little quiet inside with few at the bar and a couple of tables seated. We sat at the bar and promptly greeted by the bartender. A glass of wine and a blueberry lemon drop hit the spot for us with a nice pour for the wine and a tasty mix of blueberry infused vodka and limoncello for the cocktail. The bar is a nicely remodeled mill building that was very clean and presentable inside. We will visit again to try some food.“
“This restaurant was suggested to me via my hotel lobby clerk as I understand that it is a favorite of the locals.I sat at the bar as they were very busy and had good conversation with the friendly bar tender even though he was swamped he made sure to interact with me.Started with the crab cake and initially was disappointed at the size of it, but after the 1st bite changed my mind as it was almost all crab maybe a small amount of breading to hold the shape. So a pleasant surpriseI had their fish and chips (pictured) but doesn't do it justice. The fillet was very sizable flaky tender and cooked perfectly. The breading was just enough and great. The only real negative is that they are obviously well liked by the locals and very busy which due to the size of their place made it quite loud.Otherwise a great meal in a wonderful local atmosphere with great food“
“Good service and good food. I've been here a few times and it's certainly a little different every time. We went on Monday so they had trivia starting at 6. Because of this it was a little rowdy, but a nice time overall.Parking: There are parking spaces right in front of the resteraunt, but it is also in a shopping center so you can always park near the grocery store and walk over if you really needed to.“
“The ultimate locale to snag an ice cream, lemonade, or a hot dog while indulging in some prime people-watching. As someone who's defenseless against the charms of peppermint stick ice cream, I must admit this one truly tickled my taste buds.“
“This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The location is extraordinary. The service is perfect and the food is delicious and creative. The bartender John is personable and makes great drinks. The hostess, who sadly I didn’t get her name was very friendly and very accommodating in seating us. The waitress was also just as great. I highly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful, memorable, delicious dinner. The view is gorgeous.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a lift on the side of the stairs.“
“The downstairs has a cozy ambiance and the food has always been delicious and put together with care , as far as being outside the box , you won't get that, which is why one star less than five, but if your looking for a nice meal and nice people this is a great place to be.“
“Just recently tried Napoli’s with my family and wish we had sooner! Everything was delicious and the owner was very attentive. We had salads to start which were fresh with a nice mix, they do not skimp on their vegetables! For our meal we had pizza, chicken broccoli alfredo and a cheeseburger. The pizza was the perfect blend of fresh ingredients and the crust had a slight crisp but not too crunchy and not too doughy. The pasta was a hit and the burger juicy. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Best of all, the prices were amazing for fresh, quality food! We will miss being able to go back while they are closed during the winter months but definitely excited to try more in the spring!Kid-friendliness: They don’t have a printed kids menu but just ask, they had plenty of options to make perfectly kid sized and kid priced which we appreciated!“
“We had met some of the staff earlier in the day when we stopped for a quick drink after checking in to the Kennebunkport Inn. When we came back later that night we were greeted like friends and that meant a lot. The food was delicious, the service couldn't have been better and the ambiance was just what we were hoping for.“
“well we kept walking around looking for the door, a ha, it is upstairs.....lovely view and outside seating area, inside fine, lots of windows and views, service pleasant, food very good, a Reuben and a salad, the place was getting really busy by the time we were leaving....good food!!!“
“The Tiller stands out as a gem in the dining scene, particularly for its consistently exceptional drinks. The bar at The Tiller is a testament to mixology expertise, with each sip of their carefully crafted cocktails being a delightful journey of flavors. The attention to detail in the drink selection and presentation is commendable, making every visit a unique and enjoyable experience.“
“Nice friendly place for breakfast. Only complaint would be the 2 additional .90 charges on the bill. Guess they were probably for sour dough toast and rye. Staff should NOT offer everything as if it's included, make it clear if there is an upcharge. I only wanted 1 piece of toast anyway, and ended up paying extra. Would have declined. They need to train staff...“
